The Market Development team in Corporate Strategy is seeking a high-performing Senior Market Development Strategy Analyst who is ready to impact The Boeing Company's pursuit of inorganic growth (Mergers/Acquisitions, Equity Investments, Joint Ventures and Strategic Partnerships). This group works closely with business unit strategy teams and functional groups including Corporate Development to coordinate the enterprise inorganic pipeline, perform preliminary company assessments, and develop transaction analyses including deal theses and strategic rationale.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate cross-functional integration and alignment on active inorganic transactions, metrics and development of content for leadership reviews

Lead/support development of case studies, industry assessments and/or company profiles

  • Coordinate and advance the quantitative and qualitative measures used to support senior executive reviews on potential and/or pending concepts

  • Cultivate and leverage cross-functional network across key internal functions including Corporate Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Intellectual Property Management, and others

  • Drive development and implementation of enhancements to enterprise operating rhythm and materials

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with Analytical and problem solving in order to identify critical activities and tasks within work groups

  • 5+ years' experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

  • 3+ years of experience in M&A (mergers and acquisitions) transactions or integration

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MBA Preferred

  • Experience as a management consultant, investment banker or other related roles

  • Experience working in the aerospace industry

  • Experience in a role which required an understanding of Aerospace & Defense related technologies and services

  • Experience in commercial aerospace

  • Experience performing quantitative analysis and financial modeling

  • Experience using advanced data visualization software, such as Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Essential Responsibilities: Leads teams of departmental resources and key cross-functional stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor all activity affecting a product category and/or line of business. Develops metrics, reporting, and insights that drive team to implement needed changes that address performance, opportunities, and issues.
