The North American Isocyanates & Polyols market is a key market for ICIS. ICIS is the bench market leader with a critical role in the analysis of Isocyanate & Polyol transactions in the region for a diverse clientele comprised of major producers, converters, traders, and the financial markets.

About the Role

The Senior Market Analyst is responsible for managing all market products for the Polyurethane, Isocyanates and Polyols industry in the North American region. Candidate will report to Director of Polymers Americas.

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting market discussions with clients to establish a view of market conditions in conjunction with available data.

• Translating market conditions into a concise view that informs clients and provides pricing clarity.

• Managing, collecting, and populating data in models on an ongoing basis and integrating any change implications into ongoing forecasts.

• Generating written text to accompany Isocyanates & Polyols market analysis and providing understanding of the conditions impacting procurement decisions for clients. Providing fair, unbiased views for clients seeking a knowledge-based, analytical approach to the Polyurethane, Isocyanates & Polyols market.

• Producing content in monthly publication, including models, forecasts, charts and written content delivered through a content management system.

• Generating global supply/demand balances and future forecasts in coordination with regional team member experts in the space.

Qualifications:

• Have Bachelor's in Business or related field.

• Have background in Engineering.

• Have experience in the Isocyanates/Polyols/Urethane industry.

• Have excellent verbal communication skills with clients.

• Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as a minimum. Additional automation and data programming skills such as use of Python, Tableau valuable.

• Have ability to travel up to 25%. Occasional travel for client visits, market discussions and conference appearances may be required from time to time.
