Role Summary:

The LTTD (Lynn Turbojet / Turbofan Department) NPI (new product introduction) Manufacturing Programs Leader is responsible for product / manufacturing readiness, execution and delivery of the TX, KFX and QueSST military engine programs. You will be responsible for connecting and interfacing between Engineering, Supply Chain, Projects and the Customer.

Essential Responsibilities:

Additionally, as the LTTD NPI Manufacturing Programs Leader, Key Responsibilities will include:

Prime interface with Engineering on development and demonstrator programs

Co - Leads NPI tollgates for all supply chain activities

Defines and executes roles, responsibilities and processes to achieve overall NPI program cost and schedule goals

Leads strategy and support of KFX localization program on KFX, working closely with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure a successful customer development program

Collaborates with Sourcing on strategic decisions to deliver a successful re-introduction of the F404 engine into rate production

Works closely with Product Management and Engineering on contract development for new and derivative engines in the F414 / F404 family

Contributes to developing the business plan for the NPI programs

Involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for the business unit

Focal for all aspects of program communication into all segments of the Supply Chain

Significantly contributes to strategic plans by closely collaborating with MSO's Strategic and Growth Operations organization

Responsible to present to top leadership across Engineering, Supply Chain and Product Management

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 5 years of experience in new product introduction or manufacturing experience

Desired Characteristics:

Minimum of 5 years working in the Supply Chain, Strongly preferred

Strong collaboration and influence skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

Established project management skills

Experience working in Aviation Industry
