In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve manufacturing methods and processes. You will analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining work instructions, conducting time studies, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will provide technical support to manufacturing operations and assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes. -
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. -
  • Design and implement fixtures, tools, and equipment to improve productivity and quality. -
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and visual aids. -
  • Conduct time studies to evaluate and improve process efficiency. -
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new product introductions. -
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and assist in troubleshooting production issues. -
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. -
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and productivity. -
  • Stay current with advancements in manufacturing technology and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. -
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role. -
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and equipment. -
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other manufacturing tools. -
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. -
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. -
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. -
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. -
  • Experience with Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies is a plus.

Benefits

The base pay range for this opportunity is $76,877. - $141,939. per year.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual profit share bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
