Position Overview:

We are looking for an expert in DFM, DFA, DFT, and product development to support the growth of our products and our team of incredible scientists and engineers as we transition from an R&D house to a World Class Robotic Product Company.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional collaboration and build relationships across the organization through coordinating with project leader, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Lead product design for manufacturability (DFM), assembly and maintainability (DFA), testing (DFT) and sustainability, including analysis of critical elements such as risks, cost, etc.
Documentation of product requirements for process and equipment specification.
Support the growth of engineering team with trainings, mentoring, and advising on our existing and future projects in your realm of expertise.
Work directly with the Operations and Manufacturing Teams as the primary point of contact from Engineering to transition designs from Engineering led development to Manufacturing led production.
Engage with technical designers, and regular design reviews to ensure high quality design decisions, solid technical backing for our choices, and successful production outcomes.
Support long term sustaining of our products, including technical improvements, COTS sourcing approvals, cost down efforts, etc.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Experience in developing, executing and interpreting results of Design of Experiments (DOE).
Experience using industrial engineering methods working in high-volume manufacturing processes.
Manufacturing experience with product rollout/implementation.
Proficient in using Catia, SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or AutoCAD.
Proficient in the development and deployment of Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEAs).
Familiarity with Altium, and/or ECAD.
Experience with CAD version control software, Windchill, ARENA,SVN etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in advanced technology-based Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience working with or developing autonomous system hardware and software.
Extensive experience in Robotics or IOT products.
Easy travel to the Clarksburg MD office.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in a technology-based industry, preferably with experience in automation, Robotics, or IOT products.
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering, or equivalent experience required. Master's Degree Preferred.
