Job Description Job Description Amphenol Pcd is looking for two Senior Manufacturing Engineers to join the team at our Beverly, MA location Job Summary: Manufacturing engineers are responsible for the technical management, maintenance and development of new and existing production lines within the company.

They create and evaluate better and more efficient ways to manufacture our products, which involves techniques, processes, and procedures. The main goal is continuous improvement of product quality through leaner concepts and activities. The work required is often hands-on, interacting with shop floor personnel and with engineering and manufacturing groups to ensure lean plans are created and implemented.

Essential Functions: Lead the Manufacturing and Test Engineering team for Connectors dedicated to supporting production, including the machine shop operations Coordinate with our global Manufacturing Engineering teams in Shenzhen, China and Montreal, Canada Support our operations in India and the Philippines to meet customer needs in a timely manner Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Collaborate with planning and engineering concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods Engage with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards Estimate production times and create and/or updates manufacturing work instructions for use by staff in the manufacturing area Partner with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes Ensure all tools and equipment pass safety requirements Support in-house and in-process testing activities against electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements Responsible for test equipment and internal procedures/instructions and reports Required Skills/Qualifications:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to independently identify problems and effectively offer solutions Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated maturity and good judgement Prior supervision and/or demonstrated leadership experience Desired Skills/Qualifications: Change agent

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification Additive Manufacturing Experience MasterCAM Comfortable working in machine shop/tool room environment and familiar with standard equipment (lathe, mill, CNC, etc.) Years' Experience: 5 years Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering A Little Bit About Us:
