The Global Cobrand team leads card partnerships as a source of top line growth, scale and strength for American Express. The Senior Manager/Manager is primarily responsible for the strategic insights and analytics across the Global Cobrand organization. In addition to providing analytical support, this individual will have the opportunity to influence change and communicate regularly with senior level executives. As a partner to the entire Cobrand team spanning the U.S. and international markets, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to portfolio management and strategic initiatives.
Specific responsibilities of this role include:
Provide robust analytics to drive the strategy behind transformational initiatives.
Translate complex, analytical output into easily digested insights with clear recommendations.
Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders to help shape Cobrand strategy.
Structure both internal and external data efficiently to analyze trends, develop segmentations and customer profiles.
Partner closely with business partners in different functional areas including Acquisition, Finance and Risk.
Strong quantitative skills and proven track record delivering business insights through analytics.
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations.
Proven track record of applying data analysis to answer business questions.
Excellent relationship/communication skills enjoys working as part of a larger team and fostering relationships.
Attention to detail and solid project management skills.
Strong programming skills in SAS/SQL; experience with HIVE, Python a plus.
Additional required technical skills: Excel, PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of the credit card industry, card economics and international markets a plus
