Job Description Summary Role Purpose: This role will be responsible for financial analysis and planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. Analysis and reporting will provide management with timely, accurate and relevant financial information and insights.
Key Accountabilities and Duties Supports Business Unit (BU) Controllers, BU commercial leaders, and sales and marketing teams with commercial analyses of healthcare market and customers Performs detailed analyses of commercial deals with customers, products, and service offerings, to understand key drivers of revenue, cost, and profitability trends; identifies key issues, opportunities, risks and makes recommendations of contract terms where appropriate Assists in analysis and reporting, including market assessments, customer segmentation, business development (M&A) transactions, development projects and portfolio, sales, mix, cost of sales, gross margin, and expense, cash flow and working capital analyses and forecasts and develops associated risks, opportunities, and action plans Creates detailed financial models and validates them with finance management and business partners Develops reports and/or systems to support actual results analysis, planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting, and helps drive financial planning and budget preparations Participates in the development and improvement of financial planning, reporting and analysis processes, methodologies, technologies and systems Prepares and distributes timely and insightful financial reports used to determine progress against strategic plan, budgets, forecasts, and prior year Reviews and maintains policies, procedures and internal controls related to pricing and commercial deals to ensure compliance with accounting and company standards Who you are You are someone who is detail and results-oriented with strong problem solving, research and resolution skills and who enjoys contributing, working and adapting to an evolving, fast-paced environment. Furthermore you have the following skills, experience and qualifications: Experience in a corporate environment; experience supporting multinational manufacturing and commercial operations preferred Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or closely related field - MBA or CPA preferred. Finance) Senior to Mid Level of experience in financial analysis, financial planning/budgeting, commercial analysis, M&A or related area Experience with accounting, financial reporting, and database/statistical software; SAP and Hyperion helpful Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including statistical analyses, modelling and forecasting Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and tools Knowledge of IFRS and foreign exchange preferred Travel
