Senior Manager Training - Beef And Pork Sales

Job Purpose/Summary:

This role leads the design, development and delivery of best-in-class product, selling, processes, systems and learning and development programs in support of the beef and pork sales team. This can be via in-person, virtual or technology platforms such as Brainshark. The scope includes overall program management in prioritizing and delivering content to the team and requires cross functional collaboration and engagement with all levels of the beef and pork sales and business management organizations as well as multiple cross functional partners.

This role demands expertise in training curriculum and system development, enabling end users to grow their skills in multiple ways. It includes development and implementation of a multi-year training strategy and roadmap plans.

The role requires expertise in change management and communications as well as quality control of training delivered to team members to ensure there is consistency and quality in all materials and delivery. This role requires the ability to assess needs and then address those learning needs through a variety of modalities. This role has the opportunity to shape the career path of the team members as they interact with businesses and leaders who impact both the employee and customer experiences across beef and pork sales. The role will consult with internal teams on the use and proliferation of corporate tools for more efficient work processes This role will need to provide analysis for leadership on adoptions of various tools.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating best-in-class customer experience opportunities at the corporate office including top-to-top meetings, JGPs and customer leadership meetings; managing the curriculum development and day-to-day leadership of the beef and pork rotation for the Commercial Development Trainee program throughout the 6-week time the participants will spend with the beef and pork teams; developing strategic team member communications for training and development purposes; facilitating the integration of the training and development platforms and initiatives with other company initiatives; working through growth development plants including manager guidance accountability and tracking; delivering learning content and services to meet the strategic needs of the business and our team member development; managing the Information technology resources and related web sites used in the training and development efforts; developing and managing a library of training and development resources; conducting classroom seminars and team building sessions and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

Experience: 8+ years of related work experience with capability and passion around learning; meat and CPG experience preferred

Computer Skills: Understanding of current Tyson Beef and Pork ordering and inventory system preferred; Microsoft Office Suite products.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required, ability to communicate to team members at all levels of the organization, strong executive presence, must be able to lead through influence and gain buy-in from others, ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way

Special Skills: High sense of urgency and self-starter who is resourceful and capable of evaluating business situations and rapidly establishing action plans. Proven ability/experience in conceptualizing, defining.
