We are looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Training and Development to join our team of Human Resource Professionals in Hanover, PA. The Senior Manager is directly responsible to aid in creating a framework and design process to drive individual career growth and development, organizational talent capability, and business results. As an experienced HR Professional, this position will create training and development programs, performance management and other initiatives designed to bring out the best in associates, our team and our Company. The qualified candidate for this position must have a minimum of 7 years' demonstrated experience in training and development. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, advanced, excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, and business acumen and savvy. This position will report to the Senior Director, Human Resources.
Partner with and engage HC colleagues and business leaders in active team and individual development opportunities;
Develop organizational strategies and solutions to drive organizational performance; and
Drive a culture of career growth, talent mobility and enhanced associate engagement and leadership across the organization.
Training and Leadership Development: assess needs, design, deliver and measure the outcomes and success of talent and leadership development solutions. Serve as a resource for facilitation, leadership training, coaching, mentoring, and consulting to build readiness in the leadership pipeline.
Actively participate and contribute to the development of long-term talent management and talent building.
Collaborate with business leaders and respective HC partners to diagnose onboarding, training and development needs.
Collaborate with business leaders and HC partners to identify needs and create talent and leadership development strategies and approaches.
Conduct external research on best practices and learning and development innovations relevant to our Company and industry.
Oversee the Company's LMS, insuring the system is being used and delivering the best possible value for associates and the Company.
Identify, leverage and deploy programs, experiences and tools to drive development opportunities at various levels of the organization.
Develop and manage a training and communications calendar and activities that promotes ongoing development opportunities.
Create tools and resources to support the creation and execution of individual development / talent plans that both support individual career growth and build organizational effectiveness.
Establishes professional working relationships with other outside HR professionals in order to share best practices and obtain benchmarking data.
