What You'll Do….

Manage multiple small/medium-scale projects or multiple work streams; follow methodology, own discovery of project requirements through deep subject matter expertise, align on timelines, tasks schedule, resources and monitor status. Obtain information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project. Understand the end-to-end implications of the outcome/solution in a complex environment and prioritize projects accordingly that are in alignment with the strategy.

Understand stakeholders' needs (internal/external), positions and bargaining power and be able to negotiate the best possible outcome that adds value. Create a communication plan which determines communication level, frequency, detail and distribution of status updates; and minimize the impact of changes.

Develop and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders. Find innovative solutions to project issues. Identify complex changes and escalating them to supervisors; and execute system changes. Participates in agile sprints for large projects using agile working process; articulate clearly to business the process steps to deliver work; providing view of current backlog, incoming requests, capacity planning through prioritization, identifies and recommends specific agile measurements and their use in project management.

Understands and anticipates the needs of diverse stakeholders across businesses, including the future talent/skills requirements of the functional pools supported, the strategic direction of the business, trade-offs, and talent gaps. Managers expectations and develops, communicates, and drives proactive and holistic recruiting strategies, including branding approaches, channels, evaluation methods, and locations.

Engages and activates passive candidates on career growth potential, benefits, compensation philosophy, and other advantages of working for Walmart. Advises, counsels, and influences business leaders on ways to bridge talent gaps, compensation practices, market activity, and opportunities. Addresses the needs of candidates/hiring managers and demonstrates a willingness to achieve win-win outcomes in diverse situations. Mitigates and resolves disagreements by proactively anticipating objections and adjusting negotiating approaches.

Aligns with the business on a recurring schedule to stay informed of changes, facilitate reviews, gather feedback on performance, and communicate the latest priorities to team members. Partners cross-functionally on ways to source talent. Uses advanced sourcing techniques to drive outcomes.

Supervises, manages, and masters agile methodology delivery for multiple/diverse large projects. Continuously plans and manages sprint planning, sizing, prioritization, and time boxing.

Reviews retrospective cases to customize agile methods to project needs. Creates monitoring and control mechanisms that allows the team to perform adaptive planning and continuous improvement and encourages rapid iterations and flexible responses to change.

Uses advanced data/tools/technology to diagnose and describe talent and strategy impacts for the aligned organization. Manages proactive planning based on emerging insights specific to an assigned area of responsibility.

Identifies opportunities for improving data-driven decision-making. Recommends best practices on ways to automate, simplify, and customize data using technology. Partners with cross-functional teams to build, test, and implement solutions.

Optimizes customer interaction processes at every touch point, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to customer problems and prioritizing transparency at every stage. Oversees the alignment of recruiting experience management with organizational strategies.

Utilizes specific approaches and digital tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. Provides advice on new hiring experience metrics for recruiting programs. Supervises the management and improvement of cross-channel customer experiences.

Monitors the collection and analysis of customer feedback. Translates operational feedback into quick wins. Personalizes communications, maintains relationships, and coaches team members on ways to improve customer experiences.

Anticipates associate needs, focusing on ways to proactively meet needs and exceed associate expectations. Measures associate satisfaction levels to identify and implement service improvement alternatives.

Understands associate touchpoints and optimizes associate interactions at every point. Proactively identifies and implements solutions to anticipated problems or pain points and uses analytics to design/improve processes. Leverages external benchmarks to design and build best-in-class digital tools, experiences, and services that are simple, intuitive, and resolve current and future people and business issues. Coaches team members on creating human-centered experiences and solutions.

Proactively shares innovative search strategies and techniques to add value, anticipate needs, and streamline recruiting processes. Enables and develop Talent Ambassadors by providing support, guidance, training, and coaching on how to sell opportunities to candidates.

Develops a multichannel candidate sourcing strategy within the organization. Conducts, tests, and learns experiments to guide innovation in digital recruiting. Gathers intelligence from internal associates to assist with networking and mapping for strategy development.

Subscribes to and distributes real-time competitive intelligence following layoffs, mergers, bankruptcies, quarterly financials, and other company events. Uses data insights to make recommendations that will drive quality results. Trains internal teams on best practices for market intelligence, research, and insights. Capitalizes on small windows of time that certain talent pools are available (for example, layoff events). Demonstrates an understanding of productivity tools, particularly spreadsheet pivot tables, Avature people lists, an data visualization tools (for example, Tableau, Power BI).

Demonstrates an awareness of the business strategy and an ability to interpret the strategy and needs into future skill requirements. Identifies the assessment needs for selecting talent in the market and creates different use cases/scenarios for talent assessment across functional pools.

Determines core assessment levers and drivers for success in critical roles. Consults and advises business stakeholders on ways to ensure function-

specific objectives are integrated into assessment and selection criteria. Leverages advanced talent assessment and selection criteria that employs BEIs and the latest tools and technologies across diverse functionals pools of the enterprise.

Quantifies the relative performance of competing candidates on measures critical to success in a position. Shares perspectives on candidates/available talent with the business (for example, qualifications, fit). Empowers the business to make inclusive hiring/selection decisions based on assessment data. Explains results and provides professional advice in a diverse organizational environment. Coaches team members on talent assessment and selection in multiple and diverse environments.

Demonstrates deep expertise of multiple business units/organizations, future ways of working, and the evolution of the operating model. Develops, evaluates, and implements proposed business cases for projects and initiatives.

Translates business requirements into strategies, initiatives, and projects, aligns strategies, initiatives, and projects with business strategies and objectives, and drives the execution of deliverables. Proactively sources external benchmarks and industry best practices and coaches team members to embed best practices in ways of working and develop new, organization-wide processes.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction toothers in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
