Responsibilities

As our Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

  • Americas you will be based in our corporate office in Irving, TX. Reporting to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition (TA) with responsibility for setting and executing the strategic agenda for the Americas region, including Canada, United States, Mexico, Central and South America.

Working with the Head of Global TA, HR and Business stakeholders you will set the Americas TA strategy and agenda. You will also be responsible for execution and will lead TA-related projects associated with driving efficiencies through process, technology and system optimization and improvements to support the Americas business. You will have day to day oversight of America's RPO relationships and ultimately manage front line customer needs.

Leveraging strong talent advisory skills and proven leadership experience this role, along with the Head of Global TA, will build out a newly designed TA function for the Americas region.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partner and influence key stakeholders and HR and Business stakeholders to develop and execute recruiting strategies for the region.

  • Operate as talent acquisition subject matter expert on recruiting practices.

  • Provide guidance on sourcing optimization, job board procurement, recruitment marketing and social media strategies.

  • Use compliant and auditable data/analytics, market knowledge, and labor trends to drive hiring decisions.

  • Train new hiring managers on the TA process and ensure process integrity is maintained.

  • Ensure that productivity is optimized across all businesses through process diligence.

  • Responsible for managing vendor suppliers and partnerships, including current Americas RPO provider: ensuring alignment with Americas TA strategy, meeting agreed upon KPIs, managing issue resolution and monitoring TA staffing.

  • Partner to effectively drive master service agreement compliance, service level agreements and achieve key performance indicators.

  • Set clear performance standards and goals for the team.

  • Assess progress against goals and performance standards, through data driven reporting and proactively address gaps.

  • Provide value-based reporting and analysis of transparent and reportable recruiting data and future-looking trends that drive business outcomes.

  • Stay current with system developments and provide insights to leadership regarding process efficiency, technology enhancement, and reporting insights.

  • Conduct workforce planning activities to identify needs and trends that facilitate early action to address resourcing needs

  • Develop a regional Branding and Sourcing strategy to further build on Celanese brand value and name recognition in the candidate market space

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of business and culture to successfully articulate to candidates why we are a leading Employer of Choice

  • Manage 3rd party agency utilization, with the occasional responsibility of managing executive level searches in house.

  • Partner with Campus Recruiting COE to drive early career talent initiatives across the region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Manufacturing multi-site experience with ability to be visible both onsite and at Corporate offices

  • Manufacturing workforce planning activities which identify needs and trends that facilitate early action to address resourcing needs

  • 10+ years total work experience in North America Talent Acquisition with upward trajectory either from prior human resources, talent acquisition / recruitment or similar paths

  • 3+ years, most recently managing high performing data-driven recruitment teams or in a Human Resources specialist and / or generalist plus hands-on staffing / recruitment responsibility (onsite and remote)

  • Strategic mindset; proven ability to advise and influence in the Talent Acquisition space

  • Proven experience managing vendor suppliers / agencies, and / or partnerships; i.e. RPO experience

  • CRM, HRIS, ATS and overall recruiting systems knowledge including various sourcing platforms

  • Focus on optimization, performance metrics design and leveraging data to draw insights

  • Prior experience demonstrating value through compliant, transparent data services

  • Prior success with executive and senior leadership recruitment

  • Experience partnering with Campus Recruiting team and HR COE's (HRIS, L&D, Talent Management, DE&I, and Org Effectiveness)

  • iCIMS Applicant Tracking System experience

  • Fortune 500 company experience

  • Multisite Chemical manufacturing

  • North American & LATAM experience

  • Advanced education designation(s) and / or Master's degree(s)
