Job Summary

GLG is seeking a people and research leader to help drive success for our Surveys business. This person will be responsible for leading a team of research professionals and pitching, designing, and executing research projects for GLG's sophisticated client base.

Typically, GLG's market research projects employ a variety of research techniques to help clients qualify and quantify industry and market trends through pipeline analyses, commercial assessments, product forecasting, and general marketplace investigation. The survey team is responsible for quantitative insights/market research writing, editing, fielding, and data compilation across various industry verticals, population geographies, and client types. This person will lead a team of early-career research professionals, helping to ensure consistent and excellent service for GLG's corporate clients.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the design, execution, and delivery of customized survey products to GLG's corporate clients

  • Support commercial success via client interactions and excellent project delivery

  • Lead, train, and support early-career research professionals

  • Work with clients and internal partners to increase the awareness of GLG's survey capabilities

  • Develop, implement and enforce best practices for project execution while developing a team of market research project managers and associates

  • Monitor and own the responsibility for the health of key client accounts

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • At least 5 years of primary full cycle market research, or other similar experience

  • Must have experience with quantitative research methodologies and capabilities, as well as analyzing research results

  • Experience with statistical techniques

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in market research, business, or some other form of quantitatively focused research

  • Experience leading teams and developing junior members, or managing people on market research projects is required

  • Must be able to collaborate with internal stakeholders in a fast paced, deadline-driven, process-oriented, client-servicing environment

  • Technology, industrials, and/or telecommunication sector experience is a plus

In this role you will: * Maintain a high level of customer response and satisfaction based upon both survey and attrition indicators. * Increase reference ability. * Ensure all aspects of scope, time, quality and cost are achieved or bettered through our comprehensive project management methodology. * Communicate planned milestones and general progress. * Identify applicable use cases and business needs for LivePerson capabilities and successfully deploy into customers account. * Coordinate relevant performance review data at regular and agreed review points. The data must be interpreted to determine customer performance and support recommendations to increase the business benefits and usage of LivePerson's products. * Proactively suggest and drive the adoption of new and innovative tools and features for increasing value of the LivePerson solution for customers centered around connection center operations. * Continuously optimize and improve the development and sharing of best practices and lessons learned for increasing overall program efficiency. * Collaborate with the Account Manager & Customer to establish a success plan consistent with the customer's needs and LivePerson's reasonable expectations. The success plan will be reviewed regularly in accordance with the needs of the company. * Maintain an excellent relationship with the key stakeholders of the account and convert these relationships and conversations into significant outcomes, such as account growth and usage increase. * Serve as the escalation point for any items within the account. * Act as head of Project Management Office for the account, defining and maintaining standards for overall projects and activities within the account. * Support the contract and renewal process. * Own, drive and/or support activities that transform business through thought leadership, vision and organizational development. You should be an expert in: * BS or BA degree, MBA preferred * 3+ years managing the SAAS software solutions within Mid-Market client organizations * Demonstrated leadership, strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills * Operational knowledge of contact centers * Proficient understanding of LivePerson's products & services as well as general web-based technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Outstanding interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to team collaboration * Consistent track record of success and progressive achievement in career to date * Well spoken, articulate and capable with business and technical writing & presentations in English We care about you.
