Qualified candidates should have a track record of strategic thinking and leadership skills, a natural intellectual curiosity and bias for action. To hit the ground running, familiarity with fundamental research methodologies, tools and techniques and an understanding of the proper application and interpretation of those techniques is ideal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall development, prioritization and activation of the Shopper Insights learning plan to reflect the most important knowledge gaps for the business in support of top tier growth goals.

  • Drive towards a holistic understanding of the shopper, connecting the dots across multiple bodies of work to find compelling solutions for TBG brands' growth and turn those insights into strategies and sell stories.

  • Be an indispensable partner to the Category Management team, Brand Teams, and Sales Teams.

  • As a department of one, inspire and influence a Shopper First mindset to reset and reimagine the juice category.

  • Interpret routine syndicated analytics based on internal data/syndicated and direct further deep dives/new use cases, using TBG's analytics platform to drive forward looking insights.

  • Identify new sources of insight and innovate research methods to drive speed, cost and competitive advantage.

  • Provide insights to support joint business planning with retail partners and development of omnichannel selling materials.

  • Keep up with developments and best practices in shopper insights. Pursue the knowledge needed to improve departmental capabilities and functional expertise.

  • Act as a champion of shopper empathy and inspire shopper curiosity throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus.

  • 7+ years of CPG shopper insights experience

  • Experience in managing and synthesizing syndicated and primary consumer research with the ability to interpret and extract commercially actionable insights.

  • Commercial mindset: understands and is skilled in commercial application of strategy and insights.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written: tells a story, synthesizes multiple primary and third-party sources, simplifies and conveys key messages and presents in a visual and compelling way.

  • Relationship management: builds and maintains relationships with cross-functional teams across TBG, as well as key retail customer partners, to enable connectivity and collaboration.

  • Results orientation: consistently takes high degree of personal initiative and leadership to deliver objectives.

  • Analytical experience: strong analytical skills are critical, ability to analyze large raw data sets and extract insights.

  • Experience with standard data resources and solutions (Syndicated POS, Panel, etc.)

  • Strong planning/organizing skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
