This requires a smart, highly collaborative team who can identify, investigate, and implement new technologies to continue securely scaling our global business.
Our Information Security Team is looking for a Security Operations Manager to lead a team of talented analysts, investigators and engineers who are the First Line of Defense for DocuSign. This is a technical and leadership role and successful candidates will bring expert level communications in incident handling, a sound background in security and case management automation. Candidates must also have a background in systems security, network security, and incident management.
This position reports to the Senior Leader of our Security Operations Team.
Keep DocuSign and our customers safe by researching, developing, and keeping abreast of tools, techniques, and process improvements in support of security detection and analysis and emerging threat and attack patterns.
Lead in the effort of finding known and unknown threats and understanding new adversary TTPs (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures).
Coach, mentor and provide real-time, meaningful, sensitive and constructive feedback to direct reports.
Grow the team and align project assignments with career development goals and company vision.
Collaborate effectively with other teams and individuals that results in stronger relationships and a greater benefit to everyone involved.
Inspire and promote creativity and innovation while managing missteps and mistakes as opportunities to grow and learn.
Management of daily team operations including 24x7 on call and rotational staff requirements.
Drive rapid maturation of our service offerings through measurement and continuous improvement; including workflow optimization, staff performance, customer experience, cost and time savings metrics.
Serve as initial technical point of contact, partnering across the organization to provide outstanding customer service, quick issue resolution and timely escalation.
You take your responsibility to grow members of your team seriously and have a strong foundation of coaching and mentorship abilities that you use regularly to help your team members achieve their career goals while delivering their best work.
3+ years managing/leading security operations teams of 6-10 employees.
Experience and skills leading technical Cybersecurity investigations and incidents.
Knowledge in Python, Ruby or other scripting language.
Knowledge in Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
Minimum of a BA or BS degree in Computer Science or engineering, with a MS preferred.
10+ years of combined experience in Information Security or equivalent experience
Demonstrable leadership, management, coaching skills
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrable knowledge of Information Security attacks and analytical mindset to detect cyber adversary tactics, techniques or procedures.
Industry certifications in forensics and/or Security Incident Event Management platforms is a plus (SANS, Splunk Enterprise Security, GCFA, GNFA).
