We're looking for a Senior Manager, SEM to join our team. The responsibilities and qualifications for this job may sound familiar, but the person we're looking for is unique. - Act as a primary client contact; continually fostering client-agency relationships and consistently adding value to build ongoing trust with clients, anticipating and addressing their needs
- Lead tactical execution and optimization of Search programs, and be responsible for optimizing, implementing, and analyzing marketing activities
- Motivate & mentor junior teammates, serving as a search leader across Ketchum
- Perform daily account management on Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms for a variety of clients
- Lead the development and implementation of paid search campaigns, including budget management, for assigned clients
- Provide ad copy suggestions that adhere to Google's best practices and client goals
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search per client goals.
- Help generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance per client goals.
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
- Communication with senior leaders on project developments, and growth opportunities
We're looking for required skills, and they can come from any combination of education and experience. Diversity of thought and background are encouraged. Typical qualifications include:
- 5-6 years of Paid SEM experience
- Prior experience leading in a client-facing capacity
- In-depth knowledge of Paid Search campaign management and optimization practices
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Ads Editor, and Bing Ads; bid management platform experience a plus
- Strong writing and editing skills. Ability to extract insights from large amounts of information. Comfort developing presentations and presenting your ideas.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple assignments
- Understanding of standard approaches to data analytics, ads implementation, application development, and platform integration
- Highly detail-oriented and excellent communication skills
- BS/BA degree preferred
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
