Hulu's Revenue Management division is seeking an experienced Senior Manager who will be an outstanding addition to our Sales Planning team. As a Senior Manager, you will lead all Planning efforts that support revenue generation for our Automation business verticals, Advanced TV and Self-Service.
Reporting to the Director of Sales Planning, this role will partner closely with various levels of the organization to identify and test creative pricing/packaging strategies to capture marketplace demand, while analyzing data from internal/external sources to optimize, implement & inform those revenue-generating workflows. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support automated Sales efforts, including Advanced TV and Self-Service, by leading all pricing and packaging go-to-market strategies
Partner with Vertical Planning & Sales leads to maximize Hulu revenue, while establishing pricing integrity and best practices across the portfolio
Collaborate with internal Revenue Management teams to generate reporting and analysis of trends to facilitate the growth of our Automation business verticals
Steward both internal and marketplace feedback to help resolve pricing/packaging gaps, roadblocks or opportunities
Leverage current and future SSP/DSP relationships to explore new yield management tactics, capabilities and workflows
Create, manage and communicate all changes to impacted ratecards
Build guidelines and supporting workflows to help integrate Hulu's sponsorship elements within our programmatic offering
Function as the core liaison for Automation Leadership in addressing exceptions to business protocol
Identify business requirements to support future system configurations or improvements
Provide mentorship to Planning Specialists on ways to improve our Automation training program for Sales Planners
WHAT TO BRING
6+ years working in a digital advertising capacity, with a focus on yield, reporting and analytics preferred
3+ years programmatic media experience
A strong knowledge of how programmatic/digital media is bought and sold, including fluency in ad tech
Experience working within a national sales organization
Experienced Excel & Powerpoint user
Experience working with SalesForce & Operative.One a plus
A self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, translate it into measurable tactics/actions and present them in an easy to understand format
Proactive and engaging, with a positive approach towards problem-solving and cross-team collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
