Job Purpose

The Senior Manager, Sales Analytics will deliver analytical support to our Marketing and Sales Groups. The incumbent will work across the key commercial functions to deliver data and reporting that help guide business decisions and support go-forward strategies. They will work on projects that range from segmentation and targeting initiatives to sales pricing analysis and commercial data visualization/dashboard efforts. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing sales and marketing KPI's through database management (SQL Server) and Incentive Compensation administration. The incumbent must have an orientation toward ensuring integrity with respect to the quantitative analyses they execute, and must be comfortable delivering reports and data in written or verbal formats. They must feel comfortable taking initiative, be a self-starter and understand the importance of providing excellent customer service to the team they support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management - responsible for database queries, building controls, managing integrations, developing reports and administration of sales data integrations with current data-mart (SQL Server).

  • Engage with Marketing and Sales to understand each strategic initiative and corresponding data needs including CRM generated insights.

  • Establish targeting methodologies, manage sales team alignment

  • Bring structure to each request and translate those requirements into an analytic approach.

  • Manage, Report and administer the Sales Incentive Compensation Program by updating territory metrics on a frequent basis and updating the data into representative facing applications. Develop reports and manage data for Incentive Compensation and Marketing Campaigns

  • Develop and Prepare monthly reports complete with trending, KPI metrics and opportunity analysis for review by our Senior Leadership Team.

  • Build dashboards with Business Intelligence tools to visualize key performance indicators for specific customers, products and/or promotions. This will involve pulling data into an actionable/user friendly format to provide metrics and KPI's that provide value to Commercial Leadership.

  • Establish data integrity controls to ensure accuracy in support of data driven decision making by Sr. Management

  • Become an expert in CRM system in order to summarize and share customer-level roll up of sales and marketing opportunities

  • Work directly with internal and external stakeholders in order to inform effectiveness of strategies and uncover potential strategic/tactical opportunities.

  • Work with various data sets including retail, non-retail, wholesaler, direct distribution data and APLD Claims Data (Diagnosis & Procedure)

  • Knowledge of ICD 10 Codes and relationship to claims data.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience is required in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries. Rare Disease and Oncology experience preferred but not required.

  • Experience with Database Management, queries and SQL Server.

  • Must have experience executing pharmaceutical incentive compensation programs.

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools is required.

  • Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills are essential.

  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks.

  • Ability to convert analytical findings to market insights so that they are clear and concise to any audience is necessary.

  • Experience with analyzing and providing insights on primary and secondary market research.

  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Access).

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven.

Physical Requirements:
(travel, lifting, typing, driving, sitting, special requirements around hours etc)

  • Ability to travel domestically if projects require.

  • Some international travel may be required.

VIEW JOBS 4/16/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-07-15T00:00 The Manager / Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") will be the first hire in the Company's FP&A department, responsible for building a department and team to partner with the individual businesses. This individual will support the Senior Director of Finance in all aspect of FP&A, including planning and budgeting cycles, management reporting, business partnering, financial reporting systems and processes development, and ad-hoc analytics. This is an excellent position for an individual with a strong entrepreneurial drive to quickly grow and add value from day one. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting * Help to define, execute, and manage long and short-term models and forecasts for revenue, expenses, and capital * Partner and lead meetings with Business Heads, supporting them in developing and achieving financial goals and objectives for their functions * Support brand pricing decisions and planning * Develop Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Policies and Procedures * Support Global and Regional budgeting/forecasting cycle requirements * Work with Controller and Commercial teams to ensure accurate revenue and gross to net forecasts Develop Financial Processes * Define standard financial reports for Executive management, Commercial, and G&A Departments * Support Accounting by driving and supporting the monthly/quarterly accrual process * Develop Financial Management Reporting Policies and Procedures * Drive production of monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Reporting * Work with Controller to define and implement process for the production and analysis of Gross to Net Balance Sheet Reserves * Lead and Coach FP&A team defining reporting lines, roles & responsibilities, in-house vs outsourced process ownership. * Hire and develop the finance team to effectively support Company's growth Position Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field * Pharmaceutical experience required * CPA or MBA preferred * Prior Big 4, consulting, or investment banking experience a plus * 6 to 10 years of FP&A or related experience * Good technical (accounting) knowledge * Excellent IT skills and abilities - current systems include Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, DIVA * Able to deliver accurate results within tight deadlines Physical Requirements: * Some travel may be necessary * Strict adherence to deadlines can involve "after hours" working, to achieve Japanese and affiliate (US and European) communications Key Competencies specific to the role * Accuracy and strong attention to detail * Robust business knowledge and technical skills * Team player but willing to stand out from the crowd when necessary * Flexible and innovative in delivering results to expectation using limited resources * Presentational skills including the ability to communicate financial issues to non-financial personnel * Strong working knowledge Gross to Net Accounting required * Kyowa Kirin Core Competencies: Results Oriented, Sense of Urgency and Flawless in Execution.
