Hilton is creating a best-in-class data & analytics department that will lead a connected ecosystem of data, technology, tools, techniques, people and processes. This innovative data & analytics function will drive advanced analytics and actionable insights to help drive Hilton's performance.
What will I be doing?
The newly formed Data Strategy and Governance Team supports key functions across the business by utilizing creative solutions to provide frictionless and timely access to high-quality, integrated data. The team consists of specialists in data governance, data quality, data integration, data modeling, and data channeling, reporting and dashboards.
Working with the Director Reference Data Management, we will depend on you to lead all aspects of Reference Data Management including strategy, planning, management, and technology solution.
More specifically, you will:
Drive planning and execution for enterprise master reference data.
Utilize information integration analysts to handle enterprise reference master data.
Serve as the central point of contact for all reference data, coordinating with Business Data Stewards across the enterprise to ensure the quality of enterprise reference data.
Drive the maintenance of authoritative source of reconciled, high-quality reference data.
Be responsible for the coordination with Data Stewards to develop matching rules, identify match attributes, and craft survivorship rules.
Drive the definition of hierarchies, affiliations, and match rules.
Partner collaboratively with the Data Stewards to define reference data code values and oversee maintenance.
Define mapping for code values between different applications and coordinate with Information Technology (IT) architecture for implementation mapping purposes.
Coordinate with IT architecture to implement solutions to push reference data to operational systems in order to ensure consistency across Hilton.
Provide oversight of information integration analysts to support reference data management tasks.
Maintain create, read, update, delete (CRUD) processes.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Five (5) years of professional experience
Three (3) years of experience working with information management capabilities
Three (3) years of experience working with enterprise reference data
One (1) year of experience supporting data integration, data governance, data life cycle management, data quality, and data strategy
One (1) year of experience leading database administration
One (1) year of experience working with Master Data Management and Metadata Management tools including Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, Apache Atlas, Collibra, and other data management systems
Two (2) years of experience as a supervisor/manager to a minimum of one to three (1-3) people
Strong analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
Solid working experience with surrounding and supporting disciplines (data quality, data operations, BI/Data WH/Data Lake)
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Advanced presentation skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
Functional experience in hospitality
Demonstrated leadership navigating complex organizations
