Senior Manager, R&D - Meat & Cheese at a glance...

This is a Research and Development Category Management role within the Meat & Cheese Platform. Specifically, this role will be tasked with leading the Oscar Mayer Bacon/Hot Dogs Category R&D group. The role will involve Managing 3-5 direct reports and will be responsible for engaging with the cross-functional category teams for Bacon & Hot Dogs, ideating and developing the innovation pipeline for these categories, and managing the commercialization of Growth, Productivity, and Brand Maintenance R&D for the R&D Product Side of these categories. The candidate should have a consistent record of developing and completing work plans to drive commercialization excellence. Ideally, the candidate would have experience in Meat Science or a comfort level with meat raw materials. Confirmed communication and teamwork skills are crucial in this role, which operates in a dynamic and cross-functional environment

• BS/MS degree in Meat Science, Food Science or related field

• Demonstrated experience taking complex project from benchtop through commercialization

• Experience Managing Teams

• Strong communication and technical writing skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Ability to Travel up to 25-30%
