Job Summary:

Under limited direction, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to create, manage and coordinate: Supervision program management structure, required routines, and escalation processes to track execution of all supervision programs including transformation, regulatory change, and technology initiatives. Oversees and communicates overall status and management of all program and change management initiatives to impacted stakeholders. Leads larger or multiple projects with significant scope and impact for a larger, more complex functional area. Works independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature and that require originality and ingenuity with appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems. Results are evaluated at agreed upon milestones for effectives in achieving specified results. Maintains extensive contact with internal stakeholders to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages staff and helps to build a team that provides oversight to the various transformation, regulatory change, and technology initiatives within Supervision.

  • Oversees meetings designed to track project and program status, progress, and issue resolution.

  • Leads strategic and tactical business planning and implementation.

  • Manages overall status and scope of program and change management projects

  • Communicates direction of various tasks to Supervision leadership.

  • Creates, enhances and maintains an infrastructure to support business operations of assigned functional area.

  • Balances conflicting resource and priority demands.

  • Ensures effective coordination occurs within assigned functional area and with other functional areas.

  • Develops and maintains effective and efficient workflow for updates and change management.

  • Identifies trends and implements intelligent solutions.

  • Operates standard office equipment and uses required software applications.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Program management techniques and tools.

  • Software development life cycle.

  • Investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry

  • Finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control policies and procedures.

  • Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations.

  • Financial markets and products.

Skill in:

  • Planning, organizing, coordinating and directing business management activities and initiatives.

  • Reporting to Senior Management on status updates.

  • Developing systems and processes for maintaining records and documentation.

Educational/Previous Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A) in a related discipline with a minimum of eight (8) years of Supervision, Compliance, Legal, or Regulatory Risk Management experience in the financial services industry.

  • Managerial experience with knowledge and experience regarding a broad range of financial services.

  • Graduate degree with substantial leadership experience preferred.


  • An equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training as approved by Human Resources.

Associate must be able to manage relationships throughout the various departments across the Firm and with all levels of management. This will be a constantly evolving process as business needs and new initiatives warrant. Reporting to the VP of Branch Change Management, this role has a high level of management interaction across the Private Client Group and the areas that provide technology, product and service support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage the formation of business partnerships with stakeholders and customers to optimize the effective branch change management of assigned projects. * Facilitate, coordinate and continuously improve Raymond James change management methodology and governance processes. * Act as a primary source of knowledge, expertise and champion for branch change management methodology to promote and support consistent use of best practice (including templates and processes). * Champion the use of new and/or updated branch change management procedures and organizational methods to deliver efficient and effective change management. This includes fostering sustainable relationships with the project community, and working collaboratively with colleagues within Business Units to gain support for the implementation of change initiatives. * Provide regular updates to the Change Management VP regarding progress and achievement of change management adoption. Alert leader to potential or emerging business-critical matters that could adversely affect successful embedding of change. Identify and assess risk, and propose and evaluate risk mitigation strategies. * Implement change and communication activities e.g. change readiness and impact assessments, stakeholder analysis; change and communications plans; training plans, internal project communication and engagement to support the changes to two client management systems. * Provide change advice on various projects, preparing and implementing change and communication plans. * Analyze information, conduct research and prepare written summaries and reports. * Coordinate with managers and staff to develop and lead effective change management plans. * Identify, document and manage change management risks. * Ensure changes implemented are manageable by the service, taking into consideration the timing and impact. * Monitor and report on how change is implemented, the effectiveness of the implementation, identify areas of weakness or failure and implement appropriate remedial actions to ensure success. * Facilitate the internal and external development of change management packages required to meet organizational Needs. * Develop strong ongoing relationships with internal peers and clients through functional expertise. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
