We are looking for a passionate Senior Manager of Product Research to join our growing product marketing team. We are seeking leaders who are able to integrate insight throughout the development process and partner with product teams to increase the impact on the people we serve and partner with.   • Lead all aspects of research efforts, from scoping and recruiting to method selection, analysis, and presentation, at different stages of the development process, from strategic discovery to tactical evaluation

  • Partner with product teams as a research leader responsible for prioritizing a portfolio of questions, and collaborating with your PM, Eng, Design, and Analytics peers, to integrate insights and formulate strategic directions

  • Deliver high-quality research insights that impact experience strategy within and beyond product teams

  • Provide guidance to teams outside of project work to help them make sound decisions based on market, customer, and product analytics

  • Work with the broader research team to evolve and innovate the research practice and identify ways to maximize impact. Recommend and enact improvements to the team's process, tools, and communications

  • Work collaboratively within the research team to assess larger user trends and determine strategies for further investigation and/or synthesis

  • Promote processes, tools, and best practices within the organization


  • 5-8 years experience with human-centered, qualitative research methodologies in a digital start-up environment, who can plan, lead and execute research projects

  • Empathy and a passion for understanding people and why they do the things they do through observation, interviewing, testing and validation

  • Hands-on experience scoping and prioritizing research questions, research planning, data gathering, analysis, summarizing, and sharing findings

  • Ability to synthesize, shape and present insights that lead to adoption, actionable design recommendations, impact on our members, and clear strategic direction

  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment where speed, rigor, and quality must be balanced to meet project needs, ability to creatively adapt methods and approach to meet the unique constraints of a rapidly changing start-up environment

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), collaborative mindset, and ability to persuade and inspire project teams and stakeholders of the value of a people-centered design approach

  • Excellent knowledge of research principles, methods, experiment design, facilitation and familiarity with combining qualitative and quantitative data

  • Experience using a variety of research tools (such as, Optimizely, Ethnio, Survey monkey), and familiarity with recruiting and analytics suites

  • Experience integrating multiple data sources (customer feedback, market research, survey data, analytics, competitive landscape, and athlete insight) into a strategic point of view

We currently have an exciting opportunity available at at our xxxxxxx for a Director of Clinical Research. The Director, Clinical Research is responsible for creating business development opportunities and marketing for new clinical trials and overseeing all aspects of the clinical research divisions. Directs and provides oversight for enterprise-wide research activities, including but not limited to Investigator Initiated Research and hospital research and grants involving Envision Physician Services (EVPS). Responsibilities * Creates new business opportunities for the research division. * Supervises Clinical Research Managers and Envision Scientific Intelligence Manager. * Establishes and maintains appropriate staff to ensure that patient care and clinical research projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the agreed quality standard. * Negotiates individual clinical research study budget with industry and government. * Reviews and finalizes non-disclosure agreements (CDA's) per established legal parameters. * Submits clinical trial agreements (CTA's) for legal review. * Serves as a liaison between EVPS and clients (i.e. pharmaceutical, government, hospital system). * Functions as a leader and mentor for the research team. * Creates and implements marketing and advertisement strategies. * Communicates effectively with employees and supervisor. * Develops and maintains partnership with patients, health care providers, researchers, and community resources as applicable. * Foster and support collaboration between investigators, clinical staff, and research staff. * Assists legal outside counsel in the development of master research agreements for facility research. * Collaborates with EVPS Ops to ensure fair market value determination is made for all non-routine care research services that require separate research agreement for reimbursement. * Oversees and directs implementation of clinical research billing plans at facility level to ensure EVPS billing compliance and audit readiness. * Effectively manages billing compliance plan in-house and with EVPS billing vendors to follow the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Clinical Trial Policy (CMS CTP) for billing research services. * Prepares and runs monthly calls with large EVPS hospital clients to review research activities, new start-ups, and findings. * Reviews monthly study status report(s) and submits to CQO * Evaluates new potential study protocols for feasibility with appropriate employees members and physicians. * Reviews proposals and participates in review board for physician-initiated research. * Contributes to the preparation of research manuscripts for publication in all EVPS service lines to exemplify the services and products of the company. * Participates and contributes in strategic planning meetings with key employees as necessary. * Provides business related administrative and regulatory support for study start up and maintenance. * Reviews monthly financials and reports, reviews study progress and payments. * Maintains and creates Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in conjunction with quality leadership and maintains compliance with regulatory agencies. * Attends and presents at conferences, meetings, and conducts internal trainings for staff professional development and presentation of research findings and billing compliance updates. * Reads and abides by the company's code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs * Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company * Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so Qualifications * Very strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Demonstrates ability in leadership or managing others * Strong interpersonal, project management and mentoring skills. Ability to make decisions in a rapidly growing, professional environment. * Strategic Planning and Business management experience Education/Experience: * Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or university and 8 or more years of related clinical research business management experience. Master's Degree preferred with combination of experience. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and proficiency in: * Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Web based applications) * Skill in creating data extracts and/or reports from system * Knowledge and proficient skill level with Report Writers Certificates and Licenses: * No certifications or licenses needed.
