Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing for Digital Appliance, this Senior Manager level role will be responsible for managing the overall go-to-market strategy and P&L management for Samsung branded Vacuum products in the US market.

Key targets and measurements include:

  • Sales

  • Profit

  • Market Share

  • Forecast accuracy

  • Aged inventory

Role & Responsibilities Include:

  • Leads the execution of an end-to-end product marketing strategy for Vacuum and new segments

  • Formulate and direct the go-to-market strategy in conjunction with cross-functional partners in Demand Generation and Sales

  • Overall product strategy and management of the product life cycle

  • Lead new product innovation roadmaps in partnership with global HQ

  • Product introductions and model launches in conjunction with the Sales team

  • Category expert in terms of industry and technology trends, and competitive benchmarking

  • Develop customer-specific strategies, programs and pricing

  • Sales forecasting and inventory management

Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required, MBA preferred and a minimum of 10+ years of related job experience at the Manager or Senior Manager level in a similar Product Marketing role required

  • Previous retail channel management and people management experience required

  • Strong analytical and financial skills required (P&L responsibility)

  • Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines

  • Domestic travel required up to 15% to visit retailer locations for meetings etc.

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment where pivoting to meet changing priorities is key to success in the role

  • Advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills (pivot tables, V look ups) required

  • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
