Senior Manager, Product Management - HR People Data Platform

We are currently looking for an innovative Product Manager for the People Data Platform Team. In this role, you will determine, develop and improve technical solutions in support of business goals. The Product Manager's responsibilities will include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing the work of development teams. The Product Manager is a client-facing role which will require an understanding of how to manage customer satisfaction and set proper expectations for the end-product.
To be successful in the People Data Platform Product Manager role, you should be able to integrate updated specifications and requirements into the existing system architecture and be able to explain complex problems to business and technical teams in an easy to understand way.
In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:
You'll partner with Design to lead sourcing and synthesis of customer discovery efforts to understand customer needs to drive the long term vision for Capital One's People Data Platform
You'll turn these customer insights into actionable strategies that will define the priorities for your team and rally your stakeholders to your vision
You'll own and prioritize the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure that and your team will be successful
You'll define KPIs for your product and will be responsible for measuring and tracking to those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates
You'll have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business
You'll work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the ultimately customer experience your team will deliver always looking to ensure you're using the best tool for the job
You'll rally your teams and senior stakeholders to your product vision and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem to align to your vision and influence prioritization across partner teams

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in digital product management
At least 3 years of storytelling and presenting technical ideations to diverse audiences
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Engineering or Information Systems
MBA or Master's degree
3+ years of experience in product management of data platforms
3+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
