  • Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Your Role at Baxter:

The Sr. Manager of Change & Communications will partner closely with global and regional Directors and categories managers to lead and execute the planning and implementation of various strategic programs and initiatives for Vantive Health Procurement Organization. S/he will be responsible for leading change management efforts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth transitions as we carve out our new company. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and maximize the benefits of procurement-related changes.

What you'll do:

  • Develop clear and effective communication plans to articulate the benefits, objectives, and impacts of procurement changes to various stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans to ensure that all stakeholders are properly informed and engaged throughout the change management process.

  • Create and deliver training content, including classroom training, webinars, and online modules, to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

  • Collaborate with the internal and external partners to deliver targeted training programs that enable employees to adapt to new processes and technologies.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of change initiatives and training programs.

  • Source, coordinate, and drive the delivery of Procurement employee professional development training programs across the function.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and adjust change management strategies accordingly.

  • Manage the procurement communication and training budget, including creating and managing budgets, and ensuring that all expenses are properly authorized and accounted for.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Training, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of experience in communication, training, or change management, with a focus on procurement or a related field.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing effective communication, training, and change management initiatives within a large, matrixed organization.

  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.

  • Experience with procurement systems and processes, including contract management and supplier relationship management.

  • Strong knowledge of change management principles and best practices, including ADKAR, Kotter, and Lewin's change models.

  • Experience with project management tools and techniques, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement technology, including e-procurement systems and spend management software.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 - $170,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
