We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing & Programming, Home Appliances to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Manager, Pricing & Programming you will lead a team responsible for all pricing and programming practices within Samsung Home Appliances. This position will develop creative solutions surrounding our pricing and customer programs and be responsible for driving cross-functional work processes focused on accelerating growth for the National and Regional channels. Additionally, this role will be responsible for conducting data and trend analysis focused on tracking programming and profitability. The role will directly engage with our Marketing, Sales, Demand Generation and Finance departments.

Partners with Sales, Marketing and our customers to understand current trends and customer strategies and makes recommendations regarding pricing and customer promotions
Identifies opportunities for revenue and profit improvement and develops plans along with Marketing and Regional Sales Leadership to execute
Provides thought leadership to Product Marketing by analyzing complex channel, consumer, and marketplace dynamics
Influences leadership regarding gaps and opportunities to grow business and be able to gain approval within tight timelines
Develops and administers annual customer programs for 600+ Customers
Leads relationships with 2 external vendor partners including contract negotiations, planning and flawless execution of promotions
Identifies gaps in our current processes and develops best practices for improving pricing and promotion integrity and accuracy.
Develops recommended solutions around our customer and consumer incentive programs.
Leads customer pricing analyses and creates fresh ideas and solutions that help to grow our businesses and achieve sales targets
Reports monthly to Leadership to ensure profitability targets are being met and forecasts and shares the impact of future projects on the P/L
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, Masters/MBA preferred with 10+ year in a corporate setting with prior exposure and responsibility in one or more of the following areas: Pricing Management, Data Analytics, Business Operations, Process Improvement, Sales Finance, Business Development, Consulting
Outgoing personality with very strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with internal departments and influence and gain alignment across a wide network of contacts.
Able to understand the variance and potential conflicts across the demands of the customer, our Sales organization and our Corporate departments. Ability to quickly evaluate and respectfully question and be able to speak up and push back where needed.
Enthusiasm for numbers and analytics with a desire to independently dig into data to provide insights
Excellent excel skills a must with experience building and navigating financial and mathematical models
Someone who dives right in and has the ability to successfully navigate ambiguity
Thrives on being able to solve problems
Excellent organizational and planning skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
Ability to successfully manage to hard deadlines and quick turnarounds
Prior experience managing people
Home Appliance experience is a plus
