We're hiring a Senior Manager, Operational Account Management for our Backup Care line of business! Responsible for driving operational activities that support program development and revenue growth. Executes program management projects, provides subject matter expertise to stakeholders; assists with policy and procedure development; provides sales support, including recommendations for program design and delivery. Participates in new Family Solutions and BUC program initiatives and enhancements.

What you will be doing in this role:

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic program initiatives including project management, communication and overall accountability for success

  • Conduct proactive client analysis, make recommendations and take relevant actions to improve operational performance of the Program as a whole, and for a defined portfolio of client accounts

  • Become expert in portfolio clients' key markets, to understand network needs and trends; make recommendations on actions that support capacity and revenue growth

  • Be responsible for ongoing management of key program initiatives including metrics oversight, troubleshooting and issue resolution

  • Provide subject matter expertise to all internal constituents: Operations, Client Relations, Client Services

  • Participate in client and prospect sales presentations, both by phone and in person

  • Direct interaction with client liaisons relating to operational account performance

  • Prepare and deliver regular strategy plans and account updates to senior management - both at client and within Bright Horizons

  • Develop and maintain positioning language for program collateral, including RFP responses, marketing material, and internal communications

  • Maintain policy and process integrity for Care Advantage and BUCA program

  • Potential management responsibility for Program Specialist and/or Sr. Specialist, including performance management, goal setting, development planning and providing ongoing feedback

  • Manage special projects as required - including but not limited to management of capacity location strategies, network expansion support, client expectation delivery

What we hope you will bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent required

  • 3 years experience working in a high functioning, collaborative environment required

  • 5 years relevant experience would be considered in lieu of applicable degree

  • Exceptional working knowledge of the BUC Program or employer sponsored services.

  • Ability to work independently, great attention to detail

  • Strong customer service focus and relationship management skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with internal as well as external constituents

  • Proven project management ability/experience

  • Ability to strategize while managing multiple projects

  • Proactive, assertive and collaborative contributor

  • Strong MS Office (outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint) knowledge

The compensation for this role is $75,000-$87,000. This position is bonus eligible.

This position is responsible for directing and resolving issues related to customer and vendor separation and notifications; commercial, regulatory and corporate legal support related to financial matters and restructuring activities; affiliate arrangements and settlement; financial data segregation and ERP requirements; and impact of transition services agreements and other commercial arrangements arising from divestiture transactions.
