The salary range for this role, based in New York is $127,900.00 to $175,900.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Marketing Accelerator function is a Center of Excellence responsible for driving superior capabilities and effectiveness at the intersection of media, content, data and technology. In service of connecting our brands to consumers with more relevant, effective and efficient solutions across the consumer journey, Marketing Accelerator embeds best practices to drive quality & consistency to support Marketing and Sales. The Senior Manager, Media sits within the Media vertical of Marketing Accelerator and their primary focus is to drive the effectiveness and impact of PRUSA's media and content, in partnership with our agencies and PRUSA Marketing. A significant focus will be on delivering optimized consumer experiences, thru demand-driven, precision media to increase conversion and accelerate growth.

Nature & Scope

The role reports to the Sr. Director, OmniMedia Strategy, and work with the OmniMedia and the Marketing Accelerator team to drive the quality of output, standard of excellence and required process, to succeed, leveraging Contextual Precision capabilities across PRUSA. The role will focus on improving media and content effectiveness and ROI, while driving creativity in media to connect our brands with culture & consumers.

The Sr. Manager will establish best practices and media excellence working with the U.S. Marketing department and global brand companies with the overall goal of marketing the right product, at the right time, in the right demand space. This role will act as media lead, supporting set of brands across the Pernod Portfolio; responsible for translating brand marketing objectives into distinctive omni-media strategies that transform marketing challenges into effective communication strategies and end to end plans.

This role will lead flawless development, execution and optimization of media strategy & investment that deliver on brand and portfolio objectives. The Sr. Manager will be fluent in cross-functional collaboration and matrixed workflow, partnering across Marketing Accelerator with the Media Team, the in-house content agency, as well as across the organization with Marketing, Commerce, Commercial & Analytics disciplines. This role is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about the nexus of media, analytics, and brand strategy.

Job Requirements

The role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

  • Experience / Background:

  • 10+ years of experience at a large media agency working with portfolio clients, or in a media role at a large portfolio advertiser. CPG & BevAlc experience a preferred but not required

  • Total fluency in modern media across all touchpoints (online and offline) and demonstrable experience in using media to drive business results via data-driven decisioning

  • Full Funnel expertise inclusive of experience with eComm & Performance media tactics and channels to drive customer retention and conversion

  • Experience using media planning to drive overall creative and content planning

  • Experience in building audience & data strategy; inclusive of integration 1P data into a broader data and consumer activation strategy

  • Familiarity with Dynamic Creative Optimization and Personalization at scale

  • Experience with data-driven decisioning via MMM and/or MTA and generating insights for optimizations

  • Able to build and maintain strong effective relationships with both internal and external partners and experience collaborating across a matrixed organization & cross functional teams

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to story-tell

  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinker with the ability to translate data into insights and ideas

  • Strong leader who can demonstrate problem solving skills, agility and who is willing to take risks and challenge the status quo

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Drive Business Growth: Partner with the brand marketing teams and media agency to develop, execute and measure best in class data driven media strategies and plans that deliver our ambition for portfolio growth

  • Build holistic communications plans with an assessment of enterprise-wide trade-offs; develop sell-in narrative and content

  • Develop effectiveness playbooks to identify best practices, optimizations and thought leadership to drive continuous improvement on marketing investment

  • Build Contextual Precision media strategy and content plans across the total consumer journey

  • Identify creative media solutions to connect brands with culture to own key occasions with relevance

  • Implement measurement frameworks & oversee optimization of media performance for in-market campaigns across all touchpoints

  • Elevate Media: Build capabilities, processes and best practices around Communication Strategy, Media Strategy, Media Planning and Measurement

  • Implement holistic communications planning tools & processes

  • Design omni-media media approach that optimizes the consumer experience across all possible channels and touchpoints to deliver personalized experiences & accelerate growth & conversion

  • Develop Contextual Precision media strategy and content planning competencies at scale

  • Educate and Inspire: Share business, consumer, category, competitive and cultural trends impacting the media and Marketing landscape; stay abreast of and ahead of implications of government regulation in marketing; share applicable innovation and insights
