The Sr. Manager, Critical Care ("CC") Commercial Operations & Strategy is responsible for Sales Variable Compensation, Pricing Operations, Technology and Systems within the Sales organization, Sales Quotas and Territory Analysis and Planning, and Business Intelligence & Analytics to support the strategy of the U.S. Commercial organization. This individual will lead the Commercial Operations and Strategy team that supports day-to-day operations of U.S. CC Sales organization and related functions. The successful individual will build strong relationships across the organization and develop in-depth understanding of the CC product lines, sales process, commercial strategy, sales training, and the enabling systems that facilitate them.

  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the utility, simplicity, and quality of processes, the value and depth of analyses, and enabling systems to serve the end user.

  • Manage and oversee the work of multiple areas, (e.g., inventory, sales, forecasting, pricing), functionalities, scope and/or locations and may have financial budget responsibilities. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department.

  • Plan and direct complex sales strategy and operations activities and projects (e.g., Salesforce.com, QlikSense) with large scale or significant business impact with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Lead in identifying risk, developing mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams

  • Lead variable compensation optimization and administration, seeking ideas both internally and externally for best practice and business-enhancing frameworks and systems

  • Provide business intelligence analytics and market insights to sales, finance and marketing management in support of both current business and M&A activity,

  • Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of broad and more complex strategies which may include negotiations with internal and external parties

  • Provide recommendations, identify, gain buy-in from, and present findings to senior management in support of new projects, initiatives, and/or programs

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required, Master's degree preferred

  • 10 years of related sales operations, business strategy and/or financial planning experience required

  • 2 years of experience managing a team

  • Demonstrated track record in people leadership required, both individual contributors and cross-functional stakeholders and influencers.

  • Proven successful project management leadership skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and applications (e.g., Oracle, JDE, Salesforce.com administration, and/or QlikSense development)

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions
