Position Summary

DFS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Marketing Automation to join our Digital Automation team. Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field required. The position can be based in Chicago, IL or Boulder, CO.

This role will design, build and maintain a world class instance of Marketing Cloud that meets our business needs. The ideal candidate will utilize our entire MarTech stack to its fullest potential, employing all of the features available to maximize automation efforts that yield optimum sales, customer experience and engagement, and organizational efficiencies. Essential Areas of Ownership

  • Design and build elegant and scalable solutions to global B2B and B2C business needs that use the suite of Marketing Cloud modules as a toolset.

  • Collaborate with teammates on the Salesforce Team to design and build solutions that seamlessly integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Sales Cloud and leverage the strengths of each as if they were a single platform.

  • Marketing Cloud Subject matter expert (SME), providing recommendations on where and how to utilize Marketing Cloud.

  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and scripting language to build and deliver highly dynamic, personalized and timely content.

  • Marketing Automation roadmap strategy, creation and on-going optimization to deliver value to our customers via their preferred channel while meeting business goals.

  • Identify and report actionable metrics for marketing automation activities; work with stake holders to analyze and make recommendations on data.

  • Develops training and process documentation. Mentors other staff.

Position Qualifications

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification.

  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Marketing Cloud functionality including: Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio, Analytics Builder, Journey Builder, Content Builder, Personalization Builder, and Audience Builder.

  • 3+ years of Salesforce Sales/Service Clouds experience.

  • 3+ years strong managerial and mentoring experience.

  • BA / BS degree in a related field.

  • Experience with e-commerce web development and cross-platform integrations.

  • Analytical mindset and advanced experience with related tools/concepts: Excel, pivot tables, A/B testing, relational databases, data extraction, and Google Analytics.

  • AMPscript, HTML/CSS, APIs, and SQL a plus.

  • Expert in customer segmentation strategies and subscriber management across multiple channels, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws.

  • Critical thinker who can develop creative solutions around (technical or resource) limitations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed organization.

  • Ability to drive, manage and deliver on multiple competing priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas in an understandable way to facilitate collaboration and gain project approvals.

  • Strong planning and organization skills, with an impeccable eye for detail.

The candidate will work with the Manager of Marketing and Proposals as well as nationwide Account Executives and office Directors to lead and manage submissions of requests for qualifications/proposals (RFQ/RFP) for sustainability services pursuits and provide assistance with any subsequent interview efforts. This person will serve as a day-to-day liaison supporting internal and external clients to coordinate and develop the content necessary to tell the NORESCO story with authenticity and integrity. Creative and technical writing skills are essential as the daily responsibilities are focused around developing award winning proposals and implementing NORESCO's marketing and communications plan. This candidate will support internal and external presentations, the development of project-specific collateral, press releases and communication efforts, special events, as well as corporate outreach activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment, and is a strong verbal and written communicator, detail-oriented, self-directed, enthusiastic, and possesses a positive, can-do attitude.
