Salary Range:

$62,500.00 - $71,000.00 USD annually

To scale our current impact, ASU Prep is advancing a major expansion program taking fundamental responsibility for the communities we serve.

The Senior Manager of Learning Initiatives will build, strengthen, and maintain relationships between ASU Preparatory Global Academy K-12 education programs and the local and broader community. They will ensure programs align with state and local standards using best practices in educational research, methodologies, and teaching technologies. Through data evaluation, they will refine and improve program offerings to help meet community needs and benefit from community resources and partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Education, Educational Technology, or related field preferred.

  • Five (5) years of classroom instruction and/or instructional coaching in school or district settings. Work specific to educational technology, online education and/or blended education preferred.

  • Three (3+) years successful supervisory experience, including the oversight of multiple projects simultaneously, preferred.

  • Arizona Residency required

  • Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and forums to promote the K-12 initiatives.

  • Organize and participate in community engagement events like town halls, feedback sessions, and workshops.

  • Responsible for understanding the unique learning needs of each school or district within assigned territory and working with AZ Impact Director to determine potential solutions from ASU Prep

  • Collaborate with educational experts, teachers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine programs that align with state and local standards and the unique vision of the institution.

  • Oversee the logistical implementation of these programs, ensuring they are executed smoothly and effectively.

  • Engage with educators, parents, students, and other academic stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

  • Stay current with the latest in educational research, methodologies, and teaching technologies.

  • Implement best practices and cutting-edge approaches into the K-12 initiatives.

  • Coordinate with various departments and external vendors for resources, scheduling, venue allocations, and other logistical aspects of program delivery.

  • Address and troubleshoot logistical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to educational processes.

  • Design and oversee assessment mechanisms to measure student performance, engagement, and program effectiveness.

  • Use evaluation data to refine and improve program offerings

  • Collaborate with the Sr Manager of Community Outreach and Engagement to ensure programs align with community needs and leverage local resources.

  • Maintain meticulous records of program designs, iterations, feedback, and evaluations for future reference.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with collaborative schools, internal staff and students, stakeholders, parents, community, and vendors. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient knowledge of online, blended and face-to-face operations.

  • Knowledge of overall K-12 instructional programs strategies.

  • Knowledge of K-12 school setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills and the ability to supervise staff in a detail-oriented, deadline driven environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet quantitative and qualitative objectives.

  • Exceptional project management skills including the ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization and delegation.

  • Ability to work with diverse teams to establish goals, objectives, and action plans.

  • Ability to articulate, represent professional demeanor and ability to take initiative.

TRAVEL:

This position can require travel time of up to 50% for site visits, meetings, trainings, and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
