The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) contributes to the success of Momofuku Goods by preparing all the financial reporting requirements with thoughtful analysis across many facets of the business. This position will play a key role within the finance and accounting team. The Senior Manager of FP&A should be comfortable and excited to push forward the budgeting & forecasting process, as well as the models for different scenarios and strategies for the business. They will also create materials for internal managers, investors, and board members. This individual is eager to work in a highly collaborative and visible position.

Compensation Band: $140,000 - $150,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Own the budgeting, re-forecasting, and long-range 3 statement model across the company

  • Manage the production of all financial reporting materials along with analysis and commentary on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence while highlighting key trends and variances for executive leadership, investors and the board

  • Develop strong relationships with various stakeholders to understand key drivers that impact the Profit & Loss (P&L) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various channels of the business

  • Act as a finance liaison to other teams (i.e. Sales, Direct-to-Consumer, Operations & Supply Chain, IT, Marketing) to provide financial planning guidance and departmental spend (as necessary)

  • Generate unit economics and margin analysis for new products, new markets, cost & price changes, and other variables

  • Perform and critique economic Return on Investment (ROI) evaluations across all spend and investment

  • Maintain and continuously improve and develop weekly dashboards and monthly reporting

  • Manage and collaborate with outsourced accounting/finance company as well as external accountants (as necessary)

  • Be a champion user in in every facet of NetSuite

  • Provide support on accounting elements of the business with vendors, bank, and retailers (as necessary) while assisting in month end closes

  • Identify business needs and provide detailed proposals on strategies to promote and encourage the financial growth of the business

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business

  • 5+ years FP&A and/or commercial finance & accounting experience

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience

  • Excellent Excel capabilities, including the ability to manage and maintain tables and various databases

  • Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint) and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably NetSuite

  • CPG startup experience plus creating company processes where none exist yet

  • Advanced Excel (i.e. VBA, macros) and financial modeling experience

  • Proven track record of critical thinking and business intuition resulting in effective financial management

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of Momofuku's Finance team, systems, and processes.
