Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Provider Communications will direct the alignment of provider-focused communications across various Network Strategy & Provider Experience organizations. Specifically, this cross-functional role is intended to focus on opportunities associated with:

  • The communication process & strategy associated with provider termination activity.

  • The communication model & strategy that serves our behavioral health providers.

  • Provider communication channels & processes in support of our Medicaid health plans.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to articulate a value story to our business partners and thrive in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. The role reports into the Executive Director, Provider Communications.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for successful coordination and execution of the communication playbook & process associated with provider termination activity. Effort is enabled by partnership with network negotiation partners, sales enablement partners, and corporate communications.

  • Develop a proposal & lead the strategy to strengthen the communications experience for behavioral health providers. Effort is enabled by partnership with provider experience partners, network negotiation partners, and market insights.

  • Assess & influence provider communication channels and processes across our Medicaid health plans to identify opportunity for consistency. Effort is enabled by partnership with our Medicaid provider relations teams.

  • As milestones are achieved, you will work to identify & leads a governance that supports continuous alignment across the team.

  • Delivers advice to leadership team regarding current trends and best practices for bodies of work.

  • Advises internal department points of contact ensuring concise communication with employees, stakeholders, and members of the senior management.

  • Helps establish and implement strategic review processes ensuring continuous improvement, compliance, and high-performance standards are upheld.

  • Leverages internal and external networking to drive optimal initiative results and knowledge/best practice transfer.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas: provider-facing operations, sales-facing operations, strategic partnership development, member experience.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to solve challenging issues and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management

  • Demonstrates flexibility to support rapid adjustments to strategy and priorities to meet changing business requirements

  • Ability to effectively translate complex business workflows & processes in plain language to promote awareness and understanding

  • Exhibits high curiosity, a coaching mindset, and a passion for stakeholder experience

  • Conveys strong sense of urgency to drive issues to closure

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
