Shutterfly is looking for a high-performing, strategic, and analytical candidate to join the Shutterfly mobile team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Mobile Business to drive one of Shutterfly's most strategic and dynamic areas of growth. Our business team sits in the middle of day-to-day operations and serves as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Category Management, Product Management, Marketing, Pricing & Promotions, Merchandising, Finance, and other internal groups) to drive near-term business performance. In addition, our team is responsible for identifying longer term strategic growth opportunities, using data to ensure robust planning and prioritization and overall, ensuring team focus towards a common goal.

This role requires regular interaction with a broad global team on strategy, planning and operational execution. On a day-to-day basis, you are a data expert, partnering with Financial Planning and Insights teams. You thrive on providing analysis that will deepen our understanding of key business drivers on mobile and help identify near term strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable with data, energetic and has strong communication skills and the ability to work across a broad group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with FP&A to conduct forecasting and outlook management for Shutterfly Mobile Business

  • Analyze and determine key insights from ongoing business drivers, competitive environment, trends and operating metrics

  • Conduct analysis to support opportunity sizing, understanding of drivers and prioritization of strategic initiatives

  • Partner with analytics team to drive impactful analysis and bring insights to action through influence and execution

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytics skills, ability to analyze data and draw insights quickly

  • Experience with mobile apps and consumer e-commerce

  • Experience with top-tier strategy consulting firm, investment banking or brand management a plus

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience in business operations or similar function

  • Degree focused in quantitative fields a plus (e.g., economics, statistics, business/finance, data science)

  • Ability to juggle various projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Resourceful and able to conduct analysis independently

  • Mature personality, able to build trusted relationships and partner with colleagues across functions and geographies. Highly collaborative and team-oriented

  • Highly-proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (Tableau, Analytics tools like Mixpanel and Adobe Analytics, A/B testing tools)
