Your role at Clorox:

The Senior Marketing & Sales Procurement Manager will be responsible for creating and driving Marketing and Sales Procurement related activity across Clorox's Care & Connection and Health & Hygiene Groups, with $400MM+ combined spend responsibility in the Media & Data categories.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales Procurement Associate Director and other Procurement Category Managers.

  • Design and implement new sourcing strategies and capabilities.

  • Perform contract audits and spend analysis.

  • Leverage data and analytics to assess the ROI of the marketing budget.

  • Conduct competitive bidding and RFP processes.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements.

  • Implement vendor and stakeholder management.

  • Deliver continuous savings, performance improvements, and process enhancements.

  • Ensure transparency and governance of procurement processes and corporate policies.

  • Share findings and enable new best practices.

  • Experienced leader in Marketing and Sales Procurement.

  • Ability to communicate the value of Procurement to internal stakeholders across functions.

  • Regular interaction with C-level supplier executives.

  • Advise senior stakeholders on new procurement strategies to create lasting ROI.

  • Collaborate directly with leaders in Marketing, Sales, Legal, and other areas.

  • Proven track record of successful deployment of category management in the Marketing & Sales space.

  • Hands-on, data-driven approach with a focus on speed and agility.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of Procurement experience, ideally in Indirect Procurement functions.

  • 4+ years of experience in developing category strategies and strong working knowledge of the marketing agency environment sourcing one or more of the following: Creative, Insights, Media, etc.

  • Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (strategic sourcing management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)

  • Work experience in an international environment and matrix organizations.

  • Results oriented individual with solid proven track record in delivering value (cost and cash).

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and influencing skills. Great at building cross-functional relationships with ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to creatively solve business problems pragmatically and at speed, working with a high level of independence.

  • Planning and organization skills-Ability to establish work plans, multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex business situations clearly. High degree of fluency in written and spoken English is required.

  • This position will travel 10-20%, with an expectation of 25% of travel for the first 6 months of the role.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

-Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100

-Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100

-Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox's incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
