Meet Enel Trading:
Enel established the Enel Trading business presence in the US and Canada in 2017, to develop a better positioning for business growth through advanced market awareness and respond to market opportunities. We manage integrated portfolios involving hedging activities with complex products to reduce the company's exposure across its operating fleet in the US and Canada. Our skilled and passionate team works to maximize the integrated energy margin, supporting all lines of business in the region, through the optimization and dispatching of the generation fleet in the US and Canada and the trading of related energy, services and commodities. We believe that our real strength lies in mapping out new pathways and routes to help our customer base. The Opportunity:
The Market Strategy group within Middle Office is responsible for developing company's view with comprehensive analysis of North American energy markets. This includes developing and maintaining long term forecasts for energy, ancillary services, capacity, REC and emission allowance prices. This long term view helps drive investment decisions for new renewable projects (wind, solar, battery, etc), hedging activity, and development of corporate strategy in NA
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing short and long term market view for power and gas markets. Incorporate the internal global scenarios for long term modeling of markets
Follow business development pipeline and manage all requests related to merchant energy, recs and capacity forecast for projects and ISOs
Maintain strong relationship with key internal stakeholders including business development, global middle office, commercial and front office for all market analysis activity
Manage ongoing daily, weekly and monthly market reporting and analysis activities to support trading activities in term, congestion and RECs
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Maths, Engineering etc
7+ years of experience in power and gas market analysis and modeling. 2-3 years of management experience required
Strong knowledge of US power (PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO) - Understating of gas markets and infrastructure i.e pipelines, storage, etc
Strong power modeling skills and experience with modeling tools like PROMOD, AURORA, etc
Experience managing global work flow and multiple projects
What You'll Do at Enel:

Qualifications
This role requires someone with 7 or more years of professional experience within the power and gas markets and a minimum of 2 years management experience. You should have strong roots in trading, modeling and market analysis, as well as a strong personality to help us grow.
