Vishay Intertechnology, a global industry leader in the manufacturing of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components for applications in industrial, communications, transportation, consumer, medical, and defense products is currently seeking a Senior Manager Marketing Communications.

We are looking for a creative marketing professional managing strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of products and services furthering the company's sales objectives. Consults with other areas of management, business units, sales, and external agencies to leverage all channels: digital, social, events, PR Manages the preparation of technical content, sales collateral, advertising and public relations materials, and recommends the media mix best suited to promote specific products or services. Interacts with internal design team and external partners to produce promotional material. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage communication strategies and public information activities for the division.

  • Prepare internal and external communications and presentations, in close relation with members of Senior Management, to manage and nurture our corporate brand, identity and reputation.

  • Lead advertising campaigns and media/press relations including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.

  • Work closely with Business Units to develop and execute effective product campaigns that drive growth for their target segments.

  • Establish/maintain visual and content branding standards, with input from senior management, ensuring they are communicated and met throughout all internal and external channels.

  • Manage the operation of event and tradeshow campaigns.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing communications, branding, public relations experience; 5+ years in a leadership role.

  • Demonstrated track record of success leading and developing a large marketing communications organization. Ability to get results from creative contributors.

  • Firm experience and understanding in the areas of marketing communications (web, social, analytics, PR, branding, advertising, marketing automation, media, events, budgets, etc...).

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across business units, functional departments, geographies and with senior management. Highly professional/diplomatic demeanor.

  • Ability to develop and strengthen strategic relationships and partnerships.

  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation, facilitation and listening skills.

  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Results-orientation in setting and pursuing goals, demonstrating a strong commitment to overall organizational success.

  • Experience developing and managing budgets.

  • Strong preference for international experience.

  • Occasional domestic and international travel

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA is desirable.
