JOB SUMMARY

Partner with the international affiliates and regional teams to support the brand strategy and execution of activities in each market. Through strong partnership and constant communication, ensure that markets follow brand guidelines locally to build global brand image consistency, strong brand equity and business results.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director of International to develop strategies and tools for building existing business and acquiring new business. This person is also responsible for supervision and development of reports and collaborating with key cross- functional partners.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide constant, thorough and timely communication to international/regional teams and share best practices

  • Manage all aspects of new market launches

  • Manage, develop and track launch plans for all new products in conjunction with internal partners, ensuring quantities are accurately forecasted and launch assets are delivered in a timely manner

  • Conduct market performance analysis by category/line/sku (gather and analyze business mix per key market, monitor LM categories performances vs. penetration KPIs)

  • Conduct market share/rankings analysis for International markets

  • Analyzes post launch performance and assesses learnings to report ROI

  • Collaborate with finance teams internally and internationally to effectively manage P&L and budget reviews, retail sales data analysis and monthly demand plan financial alignment

  • Interface with Product Development, Planning/Inventory, Production, and Operations regarding pertinent Marketing Calendar updates & newness deadlines

  • Ensures proper collection and monitoring of data to assess ongoing performance and KPI tracking

  • Lead international pricing review and alignment, and co-approve market pricing for all price increases and new product launches

  • Liaise with regional teams to collect monthly business performance trackers and marketing updates

  • Responsible for monthly retail reports

  • Assist in preparation of monthly reports and presentations

  • Review new launch forecasts and provide input to Executive Director

  • Assist in monitoring of monthly shipments

Additional Responsibilities

  • Organize transmission of all samples, product and marketing information

  • Lead the approval of any locally produced material

  • Assist in the arrangements for the Annual Sales Conference

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Management or Marketing

  • 5 years experience required in color cosmetics focused on brand management, business development, operational marketing; international business experience preferred

  • Must have strong management, interpersonal and organizational tools

  • Dynamic, detailed oriented, passionate personality with confidence to perform with high standards

  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Must exhibit excellent communication & presentation skills (written and oral)

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office: Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills the individual must be able to not only review but interpret detailed data to draw business conclusions and identify opportunities

  • Highly creative with a keen sense of brand awareness and ownership

  • Must be able to work independently

Position Summary: Provides support and assist in new product ideation, new product development/formula process, and contributes to overall maintenance of the Flawless Face, Color Cosmetics, Kits and exclusives and Skincare categories such as to drive brand and category development. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: * Support the SVP, ED and Director in the innovation efforts associated with the assigned key leadership categories for the brand. * Assists in preparing the presentation of product opportunities into a complete and concise proposal for approval * Partner in the development of processes in the following key, strategic areas: o Establish strong cross-functional partnerships to drive product from concept to launch. o Provide assistance with meeting all key timelines date approvals and provides status regularly. o Strong liaison with Regulatory and product testing in Claims Development and Support. o Assist ED, Director and R&D in the detailed development of new and reformulated products and travels to plants and suppliers to provide onsite approvals as needed. o Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams to set standards on all new product and maintain existing product standards. o Has expertise in trends and competitors. o Has aesthetic skills in textures, fragrance and shades. o Has experience in setting and maintaining up to date color and texture standards. o Attends meetings with manufacturers to review new formula concepts, trends and discuss new ingredient stories/applications/technologies o Attends local trade shows for manufacturer sourcing and generation of ideas * Participate and help assist in the Creative conceptualization process for all new product ideas and launches for categories. * Global collaboration with internal International Marketing teams with samples for distributors/affiliates. * Enter Projects and execute PFA's in Devex * Issue requests to CM's and SAI for all forecast and early needs samples. Track all submissions * With ED/D oversight, maintain developmental status report.
