Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations will lead a team responsible for NISA's datacenter and network infrastructure. By working closely with other technology groups and stakeholders across the firm, a successful candidate will help to ensure a performant, reliable, scalable and secure technology infrastructure for NISA.

• Provide primary technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure engineering responsibilities, such as datacenter, server virtualization, network, and core IT systems, such as Active Directory/Entra ID and Exchange

• Collaborate with technology leaders across the firm, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity and cloud platforms

• Oversee cross-functional Infrastructure Operations staff to ensure the delivery of reliable and scalable solutions that support NISA's strategic technology objectives

• Lead and develop a highly skilled technical team, including through training, mentorship, and coaching, with a focus on maintaining the highest possible level of system reliability, availability, and stability

• Collaborate with senior leadership, as well as different teams to ensure timely resolution of pending issues, team performance and objectives

• Maintain a high degree of readiness to adopt and implement new technology solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement

• Oversee budgeting and expenditure management in areas of primary responsibility

• Select and coordinate the purchase of new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or extensive experience (10+ years) required

• 5+ years of progressive work experience playing a supervisory role managing cross-functional teams in technology delivery

• Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving complex issues through creative solutions

• Experience with hybrid environments including on-premises and cloud services is a plus

• Experience with Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Palo Alto, and AWS preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a hands-on technical manager, actively involved in designing, developing and implementing technical solutions

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
