In this role you will find yourself:
Monitoring design processes and direction by ensuring the online content and communications developed are consistent and accurate; attending project reviews at various project stages; attending strategic direction meetings to understand pending changes; identifying future online performance support needs; integrating those changes into both customer facing and associate online reference content; and communicating with business architects regarding future changes to business systems.
Directing development of complex training programs, performance support tools, online content and reference / knowledge base experiences by conducting research on best in class intranet, performance support and document management tools. Ensures alignment with technology and business support infrastructure.
Directing knowledge base and help center effectiveness by measuring and analyzing the connection between business results and performance support interventions. Creates reporting that identifies inconsistencies, deficiencies and trends to senior leadership.
Leading the development, evaluation, and implementation of online content and communications standards and governance by researching and benchmarking industry standards; defining and documenting standardized processes to ensure operational continuity; identifying opportunities to replicate best practices and processes; making recommendations for implementation approaches; providing process definition and management to the organization: ensuring leadership and implementation teams have necessary materials; evaluating development requests and determining their status; and managing the internal dissemination of workload through funnel management.
Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Working cross-functionally with the design and development teams to ensure that the learner's moments of need are all accounted for and there is continuity between what the learner gets in training and what they get as online reference content and communications.
Driving the creation and execution of aligned upon standards for brand voice, writing guidelines and content categorization. Ensuring that the final product is easy to use for both associates and customers.
Spearheading organizational process improvements to drive speed to market and work out process inefficiency.
Providing program / project plans as part of large-scale priority initiatives. Detailing the product being produced, timelines and critical contingencies for on-time launch.
Working with the product team on required technology enhancements to improve the experience of the tool for both associates and customers. Drives the prioritization of these enhancements by clearly connecting the request to monetized return on investment.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education, or related field and 3 years' experience in adult learning, training
content development, or related area OR 5 years' experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area.
