In this role you will serve as a key member of the HR Leadership team and work collaboratively with HR and business leaders to create and implement innovative analytics strategies and initiatives in support of the global CooperSurgical (CSI) business. The Sr. Manager, HR Support & Services will lead all HR Analytics and Insights, Data Administration and HR Automation areas for CSI and will partner closely with Global HR Systems Leader on all system related activities ensuring that CSI's needs are being met. This role drives a best-in-class function by collaborating with HRLTs, Center of Excellence, CooperSurgical Leadership and Global HR Systems Team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the compliance to local, country, and regional data management regulations. This role also needs to inspect and ensure adherence to SOX (sarbanes-oxley) segregation of duties. Partnering closely with the peers across Cooper Headquarters and business units to drive a OneCooper approach.

This position reports to the Global Vice President, Human Resources, CSI, and involves a high level of visibility and interaction with leaders at all levels across the global organization.

Job Summary:

This role will manage the Global HR Analytics and Insights, HR Technology strategy and the Data Admin Shared Services functions globally for CooperSurgical. You will be a strategic partner to the business, helping set the vision for systems, while managing these functional areas ensuring accurate and reliable data. The Sr. Manager, HR Support & Services manages a team of 8-10.

Global HR Analytics and Insights

  • Administer the data analytics program at CooperSurgical and innovate the way that we report data.

  • Analyze data, and prepare reports on HR trends, new HR project suggestions and current program goals and progress.

  • Contributes to the development of business requirements for Fusion Analytics Warehouse

  • Measure program effectiveness and collect feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Develop data collection tools, including surveys, case studies.

  • Develop and own Workforce Planning approach.

  • Design mixed-methods evaluations, using multiple evaluation approaches.

  • Manage regular and ad-hoc reports, metrics, and analytics to support HR and management decision-making.

  • Identifies trends and patterns in data, provide actionable insights to leadership.

  • Manage and monitor system people HR data, enhancing key data governance activities and processes to strengthen data integrity and security, and satisfy compliance requirements.

  • Apply analytical data expertise as a lead for the development and strategic advancement of HR metrics, reports, and dashboards; utilize benchmarking and best-practice methods to design and continuously improve actionable and proactive metrics and HR key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive forecasting capabilities and facilitate strategic insights that support the Company's ability to attract, develop and retain its highly diverse and inclusive workforce.

  • Aggregate and interpret data from various sources to construct ad hoc analysis, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that may be valuable for identifying key drivers of results.

  • Be data and HCM super user. Participate and/or oversee delegate data testing with HCM team.

HR Technology & Automation Strategy:

  • Partner with Global HR Shared Services and Global HR IT on systems related activities ensuring CSI's needs are met.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Training

  • Serve as system expert to support questions from end users.

  • This role will closely partner with CVI DA SS in the establishment of SOPs in order to improve processing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Serve as point person in all HR automation activities (HR Digital enablement, AI and its impact on HR, etc.)

Data Administration Shared Services

  • Lead and manage a team of data administrators, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.

  • Provide timely coaching, guidance and performance feedback to team fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Develop and maintain effective training programs for Data Administration employees, ensuring their ongoing development and adherence to procedures.

  • Oversee data admin function globally ensuring smooth and accurate data entry.

  • Sets the guidelines and processes to ensure global consistency in HR data management.

  • Ensures data integrity through the regular execution of data audits and correction follow-up.

  • Identifies areas of process improvement and works effectively to implement resolutions on a timely basis.

Travel:

Domestic travel 10% or as necessary to support the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong collaborator with proven success at influencing at all levels.

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Great communicator including oral and written presentation skills.

  • Works well in a matrix environment with ability to develop partnership with the global HR Business Partners, Global HR Systems Team, and other key stakeholders.

  • Experience with process improvement tools, KPIs, SLAs, and analytical metrics.

  • Knowledge and extensive use of a server-based applicant tracking system (Oracle Cloud Recruiting, etc.)

  • Experience developing a staffing model to meet the staffing needs.

  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles utilizing different platforms

  • Expert level in Microsoft Excel

Work Environment:

  • Remote/hybrid/on - site as required.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of HR experience with 6+ years' experience within Human Resources Analytics, HR Technology and Operations

  • 6 years of Management experience

  • 6 years of experience within an FDA-regulated manufacturing organization, preferred.

  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required, Masters degree preferred.
