What you'll be doing

The Senior Manager, Human Resources is responsible for partnering with leaders
and HR Business Partners and assigned business leaders to manage, maintain and
coordinate human resources initiatives. This involves participating in
activities that span a variety of HR disciplines, including
reporting/analytics, compensation, coaching, workforce management, talent
development and/or compliance matters. This role works collaboratively with
the global HR team applying business knowledge to inform and drive both short
and long-term talent management, leadership development and retention

Some of the things you'll be doing include...

  • Leadership and development of HR Business Partners including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management

  • Partner with assigned Org Leaders including but not limited to; performance management, organizational design, workforce, succession and compensation planning

  • Provide coaching to develop leaders and consult with managers to plan and implement development goals for themselves and their teams

  • Understand, respond to and champion employee issues in the context of business strategy, developing solutions appropriate for the stage and size of the company

  • Research and respond to inquiries in matters relating to the interpretation of internal HR policies and procedures

  • Use data to analyze trends and make recommendations for solutions

  • Coordinate training delivery using both internal and external resources; potential responsibility for co-facilitation and content development

  • Participate in workforce planning activities such as researching job requirements, business-specific career architecture and/or competency modeling

  • Organize focus groups and/or feedback forums in consultation with HR Leadership/HRBPs

  • Partner with the HRBP team to ensure HR workflows are handled timely and effectively

  • Participate and/or lead special projects related to strategic and tactical goals aligned to business-specific people strategies

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in improvement initiatives

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience managing and developing HR Business Partners

  • Possess a deep understanding of current employment practices & laws, industry trends and new developments

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Highly capable with Microsoft Office applications; HRIS; applicant tracking and performance management systems

  • Professional, highly organized, accurate and detailed oriented with the ability to excel within a fast-moving, complex environment

  • Possesses strong planning, execution and multitasking skills and has demonstrated ability to reprioritize on the fly. Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years experience managing HR professionals
  • 10+ years HR experience preferred
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
