The Marketing Strategic Planning and Analytics team at Airbnb serves the broader organization by driving reliable, accurate and insightful business narrative in cooperation with our Marketing, Data Science, Engineering and Product partners, and supporting them through informed data driven recommendations to optimize decision making.
The team is looking for a Performance Marketing Analytics Senior Manager to help drive scale and efficiency across our Host growth channels (SEM, Social, Display, Affiliates, Referrals, etc.) as Airbnb continues to reimagine and reengineer how millions of people experience travel.
Guide business strategy and drive outcomes: Develop deep understanding of performance marketing driven growth and efficiency for our business; partner with the leadership team to translate insights into action
Define metrics and manage performance: Identify metrics that align with Host growth drivers; set team goals and track progress
Provide the investor mindset: Create the business / investment cases for new Host growth initiatives and help leadership prioritize resourcing. Consider the range of outcomes that an initiative may have on the company and how to push for upside
Leverage data to scale our ability to optimize marketing through the entire Host lifecycle
Help the marketing channel owners optimize return on their effort and spending through analysis, controlled experiments and pre-post analyses
Forecast monthly business KPIs by channel and region based on historical Host data and understanding of performance marketing activities
Partner with brand marketing and brand analytics teams to understand the impact of marketing activities on Host growth
8+ years of experience in marketing measurement and analytics
Proactive and creative problem solver with tremendous intellectual horsepower
Exceptional ability to effectively collaborate with and influence business partners
Strong experience in cross channel digital marketing analytics
Strong communication skills to all levels of the organization
Experience with querying large data sets using SQL, hive, etc.
Experience working in a public or pre-IPO company, overseeing analytics for a significant performance marketing budget
