Senior Manager, Global Sourcing And Procurement

The Senior Manager, Global Sourcing and Procurement provides ownership and leadership throughout the lifecycle of procurement and sourcing strategy deployment. The goal is to optimize the supply of raw materials, purchased components, and indirect goods and services to enable profitable growth for the various product lines and drive sustainable end-to-end process efficiencies, resulting in an enhanced Customer experience.

The successful Manager will engage cross-functional team members and vendor partners to foster dynamic relationships in support of performance objectives, while managing a multi-regional purchasing team to drive operational excellence. The desired candidate will execute projects assigned by management in a timely and effective manner. 

Requirements

A bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement and a minimum of 5 years of experience purchasing within a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

• Must be able to understand highly-technical requirements and specifications of materials and components, global supply options and market dynamics, and the critical needs of our customers. 
• Must be savvy in contract negotiations, and in managing sudden supply challenges.  
• Excellent computer skills specifically Microsoft Office and ERP systems with an MRP application.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
