The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Senior Manager is a key leadership role within Fidelity's Global Security team. You will be responsible for assisting the GSOC Director in leading the GSOC team through strategic, technical, and operational challenges, bringing together a diverse group of GSOC staff and other security stakeholders. The GSOC Senior Manager will use their leadership and knowledge of people, operations, systems, intelligence gathering and analysis, crisis/incident management, and business to help build a security plan of action. This role will be instrumental in driving technical and procedural solutions for the GSOC that are thoughtful, innovative, and contribute to the safety and security of Fidelity associates and locations throughout the world!
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Integrity and professionalism
5+ years of security, law enforcement, emergency services, military, or other relevant experience
Previous experience working in and leading personnel in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), or similar command center environment
A positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience directly managing people or leading a team
Experience triaging and escalating Workplace Safety issues
Broad knowledge of and experience with open-source intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting best practices
Basic experience configuring/administrating technical security systems such as access control, alarm/video monitoring platforms and other data capturing systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Office 365)
Basic project management experience
Experience in crisis and incident response, focusing on the ability to maintain a calm and efficient response in high-pressure settings
Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment (nights, weekends, and holidays) as operational needs dictate

Assist with the creation and development of programs and processes that scale and balance near-term goals and long-term strategy
Provide operational oversight, training, and quality assurance for a 24/7 GSOC consisting of a diverse team responsible for alarm monitoring, intelligence research and analysis, travel safety and security, event and incident management and workplace safety issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions, workflows, and processes for the GSOC are thoughtful and innovative
Manage and address situations of a stressful or sensitive nature, while maintaining Fidelity's confidentiality and information security practices
Evaluate operator use of various technical security systems including access control, video management, life-safety, phone, radio, dispatch, and mass-notification systems to detect and facilitate the response to potential security/safety issues
Monitor and assess team performance by establishing strong objectives and measuring against Key Performance Indicators
Provide appropriate escalation and prepare clear and concise communications to security and business leadership and other partners during major incidents
Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs and operators are trained appropriately for their roles
Promote a culture that improves employee happiness and retains a skilled and motivated workforce
Partner with the various lines of business to support all aspects related to company projects, programs, services, and system related goals
This position is based in Smithfield RI and reports to the Director, Global Security Operations Center
