The Senior Manager, Global Salesforce Excellence is responsible for targeting, salesforce alignment, structure and size, call planning and field reporting for the US and International commercial organizations. S/he will identify and address business challenges and opportunities, aa well as will ensure clear communication and consistency in high quality execution and rollout of business initiatives. The Senior Manager will support sales leadership in developing key analyses, reporting and dashboards so that the teams can effectively understand business trends and maximize sales potential. S/he will also direct and conduct salesforce related analytics. This position reports into the Global Director, Commercial Excellence, and will partner closely with US and International commercial teams, Sales, Incentive Compensation, Commercial Analytics, Marketing, HR, as well as vendor partners.
An ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated experience in salesforce call planning, sizing, structure and field reporting. S/he is experienced in working in a fast-paced problem-solving environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of salesforce dynamics and motivation. S/he is adept at apply analytical techniques to guide decision making and influence sales leadership and senior management.
This position is location at Abbott Point of Care (APOC) US Commercial Headquarters in Princeton, NJ. No relocation assistance is available.
Lead salesforce territory alignment, structure and sizing for the US and International commercial organizations
Lead local market resourcing and go to market strategy
Drive targeting and call planning
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for targeting and alignment
Conduct salesforce analytics and pull through resulting analytics-driven insights
Conduct salesforce optimization and scenario assessments
Dashboarding and tracking
Leverage insights/analytics to develop comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
Adhere to and promote Abbott Code of Business Conduct
8+ years of experience in field reporting, call planning, alignment and salesforce size and structure in the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry is preferred
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or diagnostic sales process is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics Market Research, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Social Science, Business or other Scientific degrees or equivalent required
Advanced degree in Business Analytics Market Research, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Social Science, Business, other Scientific degree or equivalent preferred
Strong analytical skills are required
Advanced proficiency with Excel is required
Strong presentation and written communication skills
Experience working with Salesforce.com platform or CRM data preferred
