The Senior Manager, Gene Therapy Marketing drives the development and implementation of key brand strategies and initiatives in the US Market. The Senior Manager supports the development and execution of clear, concise, and actionable brand strategic and tactical plan to optimize the launch and commercial success of Sarepta's first DMD gene therapy asset, including development of unbranded and branded promotional materials. The Senior Manager is responsible for collaborating with multiple cross-functional groups, including but not limited to Medical Affairs, Patient Affairs, Patient Services, Sales, Regulatory, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Commercial leadership.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Development, creation and implementation of unbranded education and branded promotional materials to support the patient/ caregiver audience
Execution of a Patient/Caregiver marketing strategy, which includes defining a patient experience that will support of education and instill trust
Enhance current CRM platform and digital tactics to enable effective communications that will engage and support the DMD community throughout the patient journey
Collaborate with patient services partners within Sarepta to ensure adequate training, materials, and support through launch
Contribute to design and development of patient ambassador program in collaboration with marketing and cross functional partners
Inform strategic recommendations based on market and disease dynamics
Identify market research needs, align on market research plans and translate findings into portfolio strategies and forecasting assumptions
Work and manage all vendors/agencies successfully and effectively
Represent marketing function as the PRC reviewer for promotional materials
Perform other related duties as needed
Desired Education and Skills:
BA/BS degree in business, marketing or science required
7-9 years of pharmaceutical / biotech experience with a minimum of 5+ years in U.S. pharmaceutical marketing (pre-launch or in-line) or relevant experience
Experience in brand marketing/product management is required; product launch experience in rare disease preferred
Strong, team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate and work effectively at all levels across the organization
Experience in successfully representing the commercial perspective during the regulatory/legal review of launch promotional materials
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical, communication and project management skills to effectively translate ideas and insights into actionable plans
Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across multiple functions
Enthusiasm, confidence, ability to work on multiple tasks, problem solving ability, comfort in an ambiguous environment, and ability to prioritize effectively to meet organizational objectives
Ability to regularly commute into our Cambridge location, as needed

This position requires work on site at one of Sarepta's facilities in the United States.
The targeted salary range for this position is $132,000 - $165,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta's compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
