Senior Manager, Finance And Administration

Job Summary:

Manages the daily operations of more than two small to medium sized specialty divisions or a large specialty division (determined by faculty and staff headcount) with complexity primarily in the areas of administration management. Represents the department on administrative affairs to the institution community.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the oversight, direction and planning of multiple divisional units or a large complex division with increased scope, complexity, and sub specialties. Manages all facets and phases of administrative and operation pertaining to clinical, research, and education.

• Provides divisional input and works closely with departmental budget/finance team for budgets and financial reports for grants, general appropriations, endowments, and other funds.

• Oversees the management of general appropriation, endowment, federal and non-federal grants and contracts, and gift funds.

• Manages and improves business processes and operations by ensuring continuity, integration of policies and procedures with the organization's mission and strategic plan.

• Identifies short-term and strategic goals and has oversight for the allocation of resources to meet priorities.

• Controls all expenditures and statement of accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal integrity.

• Develops, plans, and directs special projects, which may include space renovations, space allocations, staffing, equipment purchase, long-range plans, leasing of off-campus space and services.

• Supervises administrative staff and responsible for hiring and managing performance.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance or directly related field is required. Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.

Experience:

Eight (8) years of related business experience, including four (4) years supervisory experience is required.

Preferred experience:

Hospital administration and clinical operations experience highly preferred.
