The Sanofi Genzyme Senior Manager, Field Deployment (FD) and Incentive Comp (IC) for Rare Disease and Rare Blood Disorders will be based in Cambridge, MA and report to the Senior Director of Field Deployment and Incentives. The Senior Manager of FD and IC will be responsible for the following areas:
Call Planning and Targeting:
Business Lead for the call plan process for all brands (inline and launch), including agreement on call plan business rules for assigned therapeutic areas
Work closely with the different commercial leadership to understand 1-2 year commercial strategy and to secure alignment on corresponding field and call plan strategy
Collaborate with the Analytics Team in finalizing the targeting/segmentation groups to be used for each call plan cycle, communicating standard timelines and implications of off-cycle changes
Field Force Alignments and Deployment:
Business owner of Specialty Inclusion and Team Product Certification Process, ensuring all teams (Samples Administration, Data Management and Field Reporting teams) are using the approved inclusion/exclusion rules in all their processes
Coordinate as appropriate any State Law Training and Notification related to Field Sales teams
IC Plan Design:
Work closely with assigned TAs commercial leadership to understand 1-2 year commercial strategy and align on key supporting sales force levers which Base IC Plan, Contests and Annual Award Program can support
Maintain continuous improvement mindset through periodic (e.g. semi-annual) review of IC Plan Performance and establishment of longer term IC Roadmap
Develop comprehensive communication plan for Base IC, Contests and Annual Award Program (CoE) including strategy, cadence and budget
Lead IC Workshops and engage with broader Sales organization at various meetings re: IC (e.g. POA meetings)
Tailor IC Portal (Field Hub) to TA needs and manage content flow with Sales Leadership and vendor
Review goals with Leadership, report on monthly performance to TA Leadership
Oversight of quarterly payout QC, eligibility review and sign off
7 years of healthcare industry experience
Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred
High-level of familiarity with pharmaceutical commercial operations functions, specifically in the areas of Incentives and Sales Force Deployment (alignment, targeting and call planning)
Buy & Bill / Specialty / Biologics / Rare Disease experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate actionable analytical findings to Sales and Brand leadership with corresponding communication of technical details to technical tea,
Relevant expertise in using data-handling tools such as Excel and SAS; have experienced using an Incentives or alignment software (i.e. Javelin) is a plus
Role is based in Cambridge and individual must be local and not commuting from elsewhere. Periodic travel for F2F communication, including Sales Meetings and Bridgewater, NJ for team meetings, required.
Commercial Operations broad expertise, including adjacent domains of CRM, Field Reporting and Data Governance, etc.
