Field communications is the central conduit for field assignments, tasks, and priorities. Field communications also assists in managing the flow of information to the field, constructing, and following a schedule to ensure the flow of information arrives when most impactful and appropriate. This position is cross functional with ties to Aftersales, Customer Experience, Training, Sales, Marketing, Dealer Network Development, all operational departments. This position is critical to support field assignments and priorities for dealer performance improvement, communicating the priorities of the Sales Vice Presidents and the organization. The field communications manager assists our field teams and dealers by focusing communications and reducing the friction/complexity of conducting business and allows the field teams to focus on key strategic priorities and to make it easier for our dealers to do business with us, improving dealer performance, increasing sales, and improving customer service. The primary goal for this position is to enable our field staff to be as effective as possible by providing efficient and effective communications, and to identify and support field training through monthly field operations managed training session, and through collaboration with the National Training Division to build a field training curriculum following best practices and developing our field organization to best in industry. The Field Communications department strives to enhance sales and aftersales effectiveness and productivity.

Major Responsibilities
Interface with and assist the regions in carrying out the priorities and objectives of National Sales, Customer Experience, Aftersales, Dealer Network Development, Marketing, and all operational departments.
Support and collaborate within Field Operations - Field Sales Operations & Analysis, Dealer Performance and Relations, to ensure alignment and to help align on priorities.

Major Responsibilities (continued)
Take the lead on field training needs, identify and support field training through monthly field operations managed training session, and through collaboration with the National Training Division to build a field training curriculum following best practices and developing our field organization to be best in industry.
This position will assist in determining the training needs for our field organization and support through direct training sessions or the National Training Division. Ensure that National Training understand the training needs of the field organization.
Assist the regions in the attainment of objectives through communication, training, and prioritization of tasks.
Work directly with HMA Executive Management daily, taking primary direction from the VPs National Sales, and department leadership.
Collaborate effectively with all Executives, HMA personnel, and affiliates as needed to accomplish tasks and strategies provided by National Sales Executives.
Manage the production of the Bi-Weekly RSM Touchpoint meetings, RPSM touchpoints, monthly field AS & CX meetings.
Manage, coordinate, schedule, and support the quarterly RGM, RSM, and RPSM NHQ meetings, aligned with governance.

Authority
Department leadership, employee supervision, program development, problem identification, and finding solutions are all expected in this position.
All employee evaluations, CR/PR/expense report approvals, program approvals, and budget decisions must ultimately be approved by the Director and/or VP of National Sales.

Education
~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor's degree preferred~ Master's degree a plus

Related Experience
Eight or more years of experience in automotive industry.
Field experience as a District Sales Manager or Staff Manager required.
Three years of supervisory experience required.

Skills/Knowledge
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral presentation skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to structure presentations for senior management.
Creative and strategic thinker.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
